Worse customer service I've ever experienced. Ordered delivery through Slice and after waiting over 2 hrs for it to be delivered, and nothing. While I have to take responsibility for not updating my phone number with them, I placed my order at 6:40 and when I called at 8:05 she said it was still out to be delivered. When 8:35 came around I called back and come to find out the delivery driver, who also happens to be her son, knocked on the wrong door after not being able to reach me by phone and just left my $40 worth of food on some unknown persons front porch. Instead of apologizing she told me it was my fault because my phone number wasn't update and her son makes deliveries all the time. She decided to try to prove to me how this was my fault. She tried to say that maybe somebody came by and stole my food lol. She said he knocked for awhile but nobody answered. Nobody knocked on my door. I promise I would have heard it. I can hear the wind blow lol. I never once got an "I'm sorry this happened". All I got was an attitude and told how her son wouldn't have made a mistake. I've never in my life been treated this way by a delivery company. I have also never left a bad review before because I understand people make mistakes and restaurant employees get treated so bad so often. But she just went overboard and I'm sure it's because it was her son who made the mistake. A simple "I apologize for the confusion" was all that was needed.
Response to "owner" My house is NOT labeled incorrectly. The #6 is located very big and bright. As a matter of fact, as soon as you were done explaining how it's my fault the driver got the wrong house I ordered through Door Dash, and as usual, they came straight to my house with no problems. I have ordered delivery more times than I can count and have never had an issue with getting my food. Never has a driver ever had to contact me because they couldn't find my house. As I stated before, I had to take responsibility for my phone number not being updated. If the driver truly did go up to a house and knock on the door for several minutes and nobody answered and if he truly wasn't sure that was the right house, why would he leave the food there? Makes absolutely no sense. With that being said, yes, mistakes happen. I don't take issue with the fact that a mistake happened. We're all human. I take issue with the fact, that even now you're attitude sucks and before you decided to start texting me you were nasty on the phone. You immediately decided you needed to defend your son instead of actually listening to what I was trying to say. I didnt raise my voice and i wasnt rude. Hell i didnt even get upset until you basically told me the driver is your son so you know hes in the right and you got extremely defensive and rude. No, I don't believe the customer is always right but when you are dealing with customers at least pretend you...
Read moreMy dad was in town and ordered two pizza to be delivered to our house. It was after a LONG day and my kids hadn't even eaten lunch. The pizza got delivered and we wenot to eat bit and it was NOT what we ordered. So I called back and the lady said she had to talk to the manager and she got back on the phone and said she could give me a discount on a future order to which was NOT acceptable when I said no I want the pizza we ordered she said ok I will send another one out. The pizza wasn't coming so I called again and the manager picked up and said ...oh do you want a free pizza another day or wait another 45 minutes for a driver to come out. I said my dad is leaving tomorrow and he paid for the pizza so I will wait for it today. This has already been an hour since the first pizzas were delivered. So he said ok fine send the wrong pizza back. I said my kids were starving and had to eatbsomething. The girl didn't say we had to send it back so I just gave it to them. The manager said. "Oh so there was nothing wrong with it...you ate it!" I said yes everything was WRONG it was the wrong pizza and not what we wanted and you were the one that made the mistake. What am I suppose to do let my kids starve while we wait for the next one ( which I don't think they were intending to send out anyways) He said fine we will send out another one! And hung up on me. I called him back and said forget it I don't want the pizza and I don't want to do business with them anymore. I should not be treated like a scammed and a piece of crap when they made the mistake. His demeanor changed and said he was sorry and the driver was leaving in 2 minutes. Well an hour later the driver came with the right pizza but my dad wouldn't eat it! Never again...which is sad because my dad use to order me food from there for my birthday every year and tip the...
Read moreWe usually enjoy dining here, but when the owner is out of the country it is a completely different experience. We will not be going back. Arrived at 8:00pm on a Friday evening, we were one of four tables in the restaurant with five waitresses visible. It took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring menus. We had to tell them we were ready to order. Part of our order was not correct when it came out, but was eaten due to time constraints- the food was fine. When paying for our meal the manager asked how it was and my husband advised him of the service and incorrect order- to which he felt the need to argue about the two items being the same thing (then why serve two different items?). The bill was $26.32 and my husband paid with $26.50, the waitress could not do simple math proceeded to state this and had to ask how much change to give back. I asked when the owner would be back in town because I would like to speak with him and the manager said "not till next year." I advised that I would get in touch with him on my own as we were leaving and the manager proceeded to follow us out the door arguing. Very unprofessional. We will no longer patron this restaurant. It is sad because we think highly of the owner, but in his absence you never know how your...
