Subway — Restaurant in Randleman

I'm a retired senior & have to watch my spending so with that said, I only buy Subway items when their coupons come out. On this visit I was surprised to see that the preparers were not masked. Everywhere else in town they are.This trip I purchased the footlong sweet Chipotle chicken sub on white bread toasted with provalone cheese, lettuce, spinach, yellow peppers and sweet Chipotle sauce. At home the sub was still warm and the first couple of bites were very flavorful & delicious then I bit into a piece of chicken about the length and thickness of my thumb, which was uncooked. After a couple of chews, I then spit it out. The rest of the sub was very good but the experience with the raw chunk of chicken greatly diminished the positive experience I had. Overall, the restaurant cleanliness was good. Selection and variety of food items is very good. Employees without masks was off putting. Cost without coupons is too expensive for what you get in my opinion. The encounter with the raw chicken & unmasked employees causes me to give this experience a guarded/cautious grade C. There is another Subway nearby so I will probably try them...

On 08/31/2022, I went to the Subway on 993 HighPoint Rd B-05 Randleman, NC 27317. There’s a lady by the name of Somner or Somer (not entirely sure on the spelling) however when she was taking my order, she’s was very rude, disrespectful, made a snide remark under her breath on how I didn’t get Ranch on a chicken bacon sandwiches. Overall my experience was very lack luster and Pitta full. I went into subway with a decent mood and left feeling angry and I left feeling like an inconvenience. On top of that the entire time I was trying to place an order for a fellow coworker of mine, she was inpatient and unwilling to work with me on how to correctly make my coworkers sandwich. Had to deal with a very rude staff member (older blonde woman with fake blue eyes) that gave us an attitude from the start. I made mention that we had a coupon (to make sure they accepted them) and she waved at me stating "Yeah, we don't take those right now, that's at the end" in a condescending tone. After the first sub was toasted, we asked for extra onions and the same blonde gave us an attitude, saying we had plenty and that "five or so is the norm, you have plenty on there." Got tired of her tone and attitude and the second sandwich we had started making had burnt bread before it was even toasted. Told them to throw them away and that we wouldn't be back. I guess you're guaranteed to be served with a horrible attitude at this location. Will NOT be back and DO NOT recommend if you want your sandwich...
