Below average, When ordering I asked if they deliver, her first questions was " how much food I was ordering" I said three dinners and two eggrolls, then she asked where to. I'm in Randolph over by YMCA. Sweet & Sour chicken was so overcooked my kids would not eat it. I tried it and it was barely edible. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was average, same with Chicken and Broccoli. The portions were much smaller than other local chinese restaurants. (usually the Sweet & Sour Chicken is overflowing the container to the point the container won't close, enough for two people, no leftovers for lunch the next day). Delivery guy called lost and argued with me that he was in front of my house when he wasn't. Turns out he was one street over. I could have excused all of the above...............But, on top of all that they charged a $6 gas charge for delivery!!!! That's almost two gallons of gas for a 9 mile round trip and $40 worth of food that cost $8 to make. Plus a $5 tip. I would never begrudge anyone of making a profit, even more profit if the food is outstanding. And I've considered inflation and employee challenges. But this experience was a step above frozen. So many better choices,...
Read moreA week ago, my family and I ordered take-out from here, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences my brother-in-law ever had. We always order from Cedar Knolls as that is typically closer to home, but the day we ordered, we never looked at the location when my brother-in-law made the call. They are surprisingly cheaper than Cedar Knolls, and when we got the food, everything was so fresh and flavorful. The steamed dumplings were huge compared to Cedar Knolls and tasted amazing. My brother-in-law kept joking with them about where he was going to pick up the food and if we were getting anything complimentary for such a big food order. To say they delivered is an understatement. My brother-in-law now has drink glasses with Hunan Wok's logo on it, and it is beautiful. Not to mention, they even added a soup on the house. The whole family has agreed that this is definitely our new go-to whenever we're in the mood for...
Read moreWe've been going to this restaurant for a while and just had a pretty negative experience there. My husband picked up and brought the food home, and when we got it all out, realized that of the three chicken dishes we received, two were undercooked to the point of the meat being pink. I called the restaurant to let them know, and was told they would not issue a refund unless I drove back to the restaurant with the chicken to prove that it was pink. By this point it was almost 7pm, and I have two small children who need to go to bed- neither of us were willing to drive back just to show them the pink chicken. I was told the "chicken was fresh" and they "make it every day," neither of which have anything to do with whether it was undercooked. We ended up throwing almost 30$ worth of food away and then had to end up making the kids dinner anyway. We will not...
