Prices are a little high. But thats about the only bad thing about this shop! Not only did we get fast service but it's pplaced right along the river with seating to ensure you eat your ice cream with a good view :) There was plenty of candy in our "wizzards" totally recommend getting a cone on your first time, they sure looked taastyyy.

We used to go here when it was Rickey's a long time ago! The variety is great and the ice cream is awesome! When they are getting ready to close, you might not find your favorite flavor but it is still worth the trip and it was really nice to sit by the river to enjoy our treats!

This place is always busy but the line moves pretty quick. There are lots of hard serve and soft serve flavor options and non dairy options. There is a decent amount of outdoor seating on the patio. Out back you will find more picnic tables and views of the kennebeck river.

We decided on a whim to go to the ice cream shoppe for n Randolph, ME. There is a note on the window that says to let them know if you have an allergy before ordering. Perfect! I let them know I have an allergy and asked them if they could just rinse off the scooper. They told me that they could just go get the ice cream that’s in the cooler that they use for people with allergies. Again, perfect! My boyfriend got his ice cream and then I stood there and waited, and waited, and waited. 13 people and a dog were served before me. Then when I asked, they said it would be out shortly. By then my boyfriend had finished his ice cream and I just wanted to leave. I get that they are busy, but THEY told me that they could accommodate me and told me their process and instead helped numerous other people before going out back to get my ONE scoop of ice cream. I’m soooo sorry that I have a food allergy, but maybe they shouldn’t be telling people that they can accommodate them if they just...

very disappointed this was our first time going this season last year was great but not sure if it's because they are just starting up for season but first the person taking our order didn't seem to happy ( I don't expect overload fakeness) but literally she seemed to want to be elsewhere and then I ordered my sons sundae which was fine then ordered mine and she looked confused when I asked where the whip cream cherry and nuts where then she offered to put it in a cup I said no thank you and the sundaes weren't the most pleasant looking just looked like half melted mush honestly last year everything looked more presentable and appetizing don't think spending 13 dollars for a kid and adult for ice cream is worth it if it doesn't look...

Favorite ice cream place in the Augusta/Gardiner area. Always friendly and usually busy, but don't let the full parking lot and line fool you. These scoop servers are on their game and move customers through the line quite quickly and to a table on their deck or lawn, both with views if the Kennebec. I made the mistake of ordering a large banana split, and it was truly massive. 6 hard serve scoops in 3 flavors. It was truly a boat. If you're in doubt, take what you would have spent at DQ and take the drive into Randolph. You won't be...
