my first visit here and i was greeted by a unfriendly cashier in her late teens/possibly early 20s who had a foreign accent. i attempted to be friendly and jovial, asking if she was from austrailia, she seemed disgusted and corrected me, saying she was from england. i asked her where in england and guessed, which disgusted her even more, telling me she was from a different part of england. i ordered my food and asked for a modification, which also seemed to annoy her as she had to check with someone about it. luckily someone wasnt as miserable as her, and allowed the modification. so lunch for 2 cost me approximately 35.00 and the card reader immediately prompts me for a tip. i tip 15 percent despite the englander's disposition being only as sunny as her homeland. i still leave the cashier with a friendly "cheerio", which unknown to me at the time, mustve really angered her. our food was served by either the female owner or manager, who only after giving me my mediocre sandwich, confronted me about my friendly small talk with the blue-haired stereotypical liberal female employee... i was told how i had offended the blue haired snowflake when i was asking her about england. wow, i couldnt believe it. i apologized, asking her to tell her employee that i wasnt trying to offend her, that i was only making conversation. looking back, its no suprise that someone from generation z ended up being triggered, but it was a suprise that the manager or owner or whoever she was ignored my apology and doubled down rudely, again telling me how i offended the employee. what a joke of a place, very unprofessional, and neither myself, my family, or friends will eat here again. if only i could take back that tip, like i had to take back my own dishes after i was done eating... how in the heck can you ask for a tip when you dont even take back your resturant's dishes??? yes, let me do your work for you and pay you for doing it. 35.00 for lunch from here was ridiculous, even if it hadnt been...
Read moreThe place was cold, windows were wide open in the dining area, so we decided to sit inside near the kitchen area. My boyfriend ordered a sandwich with no cheese, and I had a muffin. I got my muffin relatively quickly, but my boyfriend did not get his sandwich, so after 25 minutes he went up and asked for it, and they mistakenly put cheese on it, so they were fixing that. So we waited, and waited, and waited. In the meantime, there were people coming in that were receiving their food, and leaving with their food. We were sitting and waiting for 40 mins, so my boyfriend decided to demand his money back, because the sandwich wasn't forthcoming. They claimed they called his name twice, when it was ready, but we heard nothing from them. We were sitting right by the kitchen, and would've heard. Very unorganized, would never...
