Taste of Thai — Restaurant in Rantoul

I saw all of the positive reviews, and thought I would give it a try. I'm ex-military have have been to Bangkok. What I had (Red Curry, Crab Rangoon's) did not remind me of Thailand in the least. It was actually very, very disgusting. I threw away 5 of the 6 rangoons, and over half of the curry. The only positive thing was, the egg rolls were delicious.

The Crab Ragoons are incredible. First time me and my fiancé went we had the fried rice and it was incredible, could have used a bit more flavor on its own but it’s easily corrected with some soy sauce. Atmosphere is a bit off, it feels very…empty and there’s hardly any seating but i think that’s due to them doing renovations recently. Overall definitely suggest checking it out if you’re in the Rantoul area. Pry the best Thai food you’ll find in a small town like this...

Best Thai I have had in a long time!!! I can taste the love in the food. This place knocks out of the ballpark all of the Thai places in Champaign county. The crab rangoons are delicious with the detail of green onions in them! Pad Thai with tofu is remarkable and the peanuts provided a perfect crunch! All of the flavors are amazing!!
