I am a frequent customer at Kafe De Manila and it is always a delightful experience! This place truly captures the essence of Filipino flavors with a modern twist.
For example, their Ube Crinkles; These are simply divine! The crinkles has a perfect balance of sweetness and a soft, chewy texture. The ube flavor is rich and authentic, making every bite a treat. Their Sans Rival is a family favorite. A layered dessert that is both crunchy and creamy. The cashews on top adds a wonderful nutty flavor that compliments the sweetness beautifully. And then there’s their Iced Ube Float Latte. This drink has the perfect refreshing accompaniment to the baked goods. The ube flavor was subtle yet present, and the float added a creamy richness and even some fun to the latte. It was both visually appealing and delicious.
Overall, Kafe De Manila offers a wonderful array of Filipino desserts that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The quality and flavors of their desserts are always on point.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in some authentic...
Read moreThis item has remained on our agenda for an extended period. The extensive Ube options are remarkable; a wide variety of Ube-infused beverages, desserts, and pastries are available.
We sampled the Ube Taho—a tofu-based dessert featuring Ube boba—alongside Iced Vietnamese Coffee Ube Yaro (4oz espresso), a 16oz Iced Kafe with oat milk, and a sponge cake. All items were of high quality.
The flavors were exceptional. The Ube foam was particularly delightful.
The Ube Taho, described as a tofu-based dessert with Ube boba, served as a satisfying, appropriately warm snack, easily shared.
The Iced Vietnamese Coffee Ube Yaro (4oz espresso) featured delightful Ube foam and a robust espresso shot; it was saved for morning consumption due to our evening visit.
The 16oz Iced Kafe with oat milk was flawlessly executed.
To enhance the customer experience, we recommend increasing the seating capacity. Only one table and two chairs were available; three or four additional chairs would comfortably accommodate...
Read moreKafé de Manila is a nice bright shop right on Main St, I love the purple color throughout the shop. The staff and owner are very kind and sweet, I appreciated the warm customer service, recommendations, and smiles. I ordered the iced ube float with no coffee or matcha, which is really good! It's not very sweet, and that's how I prefer most of my drinks. I will definitely be stopping by to order it again!
I also ordered the ube tres leche and the ube bread pudding. I still have yet to try the ube tres leche, but the bread pudding is delicious! When you order the bread pudding, they'll normally add an additional crème brûlée brown sugar finish on the top, but I asked that they not add that to my piece. It's the perfect sweetness for me as it is without the additional sugar. I was told that many people have not ordered the bread pudding yet, because it's still a new item. But I'm here to tell you that it's a must order!
I will definitely be back to get another iced ube and bread pudding, and try...
