My wife is a truck driver and we love going to subway, we’ve been to this subway specifically twice. First time was eh, the second time however was beyond me. There’s a lady with short red hair older lady, the rudest most mind blowing human being. There was a couple before my wife and I who had ordered their food, they also ordered two of the large drinks, went to fill their cups and the woman told the red head employee that the drink was flat, the employee said in the rudest way and loud enough for everyone in the store to hear almost to publicly humiliate the woman and said “oh well ma’am there’s nothing I can do about it , the CO2 is broken” and you can tell it made the woman feel “dumb” in a sense and they left. The next issue was THE WINNING ISSUE, there was a deaf woman with an interpreter, obviously it takes some patience and the same red head employee was so rude, the deaf woman was explaining to her interpreter what she had wanted and the interpreter was explaining to the employee and the employee looked at the deaf woman and then the interpreter and was like “I can’t hear you ma’am you need to speak up” but said it with such irritation and disgust. It was aweful to watch and so I’ll mannered. It’s beyond me how a human being can be so ugly. No one deserves that type of treatment for a service they pay for. If you don’t like your job,...
Read moreI give one star simply because I can't give a lower rating. We have been on the road for two weeks, visited Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and a brief stop in Raton, NM. Haven't had any problems anywhere we visited. Saturday, we stopped at the Raton, NM Subway. We were treated shabbily and refused service because we did not have a mask. The subway employee at the cash register was shrill, rude, and unnecessarily mean in attitude. We quietly returned to our car to retrieve masks and heard several other customers grumbling about this person also. While we waited to place our our order, we noticed the employees were not properly wearing their masks. This is unsafe relative to COVID publicity. When we went to a table we noticed the staff was not sanitizing tables between customers, this made us feel the cashier's shrill and bullying attitude was one of meanness and controlling rather than making the place safe. The restrooms were filthy, there was not any soap, all I could do is rinse my hands. Fortunately I had hand sanitizer in the car and was able to "sort of" clean my hands until I could stop at a service station. This establishment is a poor representative for COVID safety, an even worse representative for Subway. I will think twice before spending my hard earned money at Subway...
Read moreThe food was okay. It was pretty much like every other subway.
The problem is, they have some new menu structure in place that didn't work for me at all. Essentially, I wanted to have a club sandwich, but wanted to choose my own vegetables and condiments.
The new menu has several clubs that can be chosen from, but none of them look particularly good at all. I wanted to get my own vegetables and sauce so they charged me an extra $3 for the sandwich.
So look, save yourself then pain. If this is what Subway is going to be from now on just stop going there. They should be the same all across the country, and walking into one like this and having them insist that I pay nearly twice as much for the sandwich in order to get the vegetables I want is a joke.
There's really nothing I can do below one star. But I think this place, and if this is the new subway, Subway in general, deserves zero stars.
Subway national, if you're reading this, just realize that the only reason to come to your restaurant is because we can get sandwiches dress the way we want them to be. If you change that, you may as well just shut your doors. This is the worst idea that you've had since hiring Jared is your...
