first impression, they are arrogant that they are a 4.9 star business (i doubt the legitamacy of this rating after my experience). their website mentioned highly of being very accomodating to customization. as much as they say that, they dont really mean it. very pricey and much hyped up products for not much reality of a simple cupcake/cookie. I wanted to support a local business and drove out of my way to give them my order. I visited the store thursday hoping to put in an initial order and to get a cupcake of the flavor of my choice for my order, and they said that they'd make that flavor on monday and that i should go back on tuesday to get the cupcakes in a sale. no biggie. i did not communicate much in the meantime and i went back on tuesday, bought and ate them that day, messaged them on wednesday with a few questions on customizing and went into the store on thursday again to finalize the order. I've had a total of 5 interactions in this duration and the owner/staff commented that i am over communicating and that i wasnt confident in what i want. she put up a sticky note on my order form with big caps letters saying "NOT CONFIDENT" and kept saying over and over again that i am setting myself up for disappointment. she also responded in an offensive and derogatory way to my questions on customization. she kept saying indirectly that they wouldnt fulfil my order as i would be disappointed for sure and that they'd lose a customer and that i should go elsewhere. Guess what, this business still achieved that and i will continue to NOT RECOMMEND this store. Your arrogance will catch up to you one day if YOU cant start being confident and humble. Went there for a gluten-free cake. They agreed to make exactly what I wanted for a birthday cake. I was quite impressed with the store and the friendly staff. The products displayed were fantastic and the selections were huge. The variety was amazing! Highly recommended this bakery! Ok, got the cake Saturday for a party Sunday. I was very very disappointed. I asked for a strawberry whipped cream cake. I always get them from Baroana's in Maple Heights. They don't have gluten-free. The girl who took my order said it was no problem. Obviously she didn't really know what I meant. The cake is white cake with real strawberrys in the filling, then frosted with whipped cream. I was so disappointed when my granddaughter cut her cake. She looked and said, "What's this?" It was a strawberry flavored cake, no strawberries inside. My fault for thinking the girl knew what it was but she told me she did. I believed her. She asked what color writing I wanted and I said pink. The whole cake was frosted pink with pink lettering. You could barely read the writing on it. I could have baked it at home if all I wanted was a regular layer cake. Was so excited when I ordered it, disappointed...

STILL the best cupcakes I've ever eaten, hands down. It's not just the moist dense cake and the perfectly sweet frosting that deserves praise. It's the astonishing variety that is in the display cases every time I go. This visit I was so happy to see orange cupcakes, because that's my hands-down favorite. Looking over the other kinds, It's very hard to choose, but I try to limit myself to six because one person shouldn't really eat more than six cupcakes, right? I ended up sharing with my mom.

Deb calls me her 'Google-girl' because I always post pretty photos of the cupcakes online, but who can resist? Her delectable creations deserve tp be admired - AND EATEN! So get in there and try a few.

Just because I've been coming here for years doesn't mean I should just leave my initial 5-star review sitting there...
