If no star were an option that's what I would give. Was in town visiting Family and heard this place was really good. Not my experience. 1st off we were seated in the back dining room because the main room was full. Because we were in the back room we were told we could not order the special. Big selection of drinks if you feel like hanging out at the bar to see what all they have. It's called a drink list! Make one! We had 7 adults in our party and not one of us were happy with the food. We had exceptional service from the waitress Stephanie. Two of us ordered a porterhouse. After 20 min we were told they were out. So we tied them into serving us the special primerib. Ordered med rare, was served over cooked. When it was sent back to the kitchen Beth "the owner" had the server bring it right back and insist that before they take it away that it was over cooked. Really, I would not had returned it to the kitchen. The other primerib was eaten simply bc I was starving. One primerib was comped with the exception of a $3 charge for a side salad which did not get eaten. The others at the table ordered a variety of things. A Reuben which came out with cold fries, over cooked hamburger and the list goes on and on. Beth the owner said she would make things right with the bill. LMAO. A 10% discount. Wow very generous. Love the atmosphere and cozy seating arrangements. Especially in the wintertime, if I can manage to snag the couch in front of the fireplace, lol. Never overcrowded and never too loud to have a decent conversation. Food is always exceptional! Drinks, beer and otherwise are outstanding! Prices are extremely reasonable, maybe even more on the cheaper side than to be expected. My last visit I even discovered that they have a really cute patio area outside. I have personally been there approx. a dozen times over the last three years or so and not once have I ever been disappointed. Never any drama and their bartender (you would think I would be able to remember his name... my bad) is always upbeat, polite and forever working hard for each and every customer. They really need to keep that bartender because he is an amazing hard worker. Honestly, he is probably as big a reason to keep going back as any of the other reasons I already listed. HIGHLY...

Buyer beware. Prices on the menu are not what you pay. Everything we purchased was .20 or more cents higher plus at the end of your visit they charge you tax plus vat(vet) tax . Probably our last visit there. Talk about a rip off. Just buyer beware. Fyi prices on menu are not what you pay. Example pretzel was 3.99 but was 4.19 on menu. Our waitress let us know that the prices on menu are not what you are charged. I spoke to the night manager and he said the 3.99 is the price you pay for to go menu.
