For this review I will only talk about my plate out a party of 4. I got their input too on their own food, but having not tried it for myself I don't want to talk about it in detail.
I had ordered pork chops with egg, refied beans, and a hashbrown. Everything was fine until the food came in. 2 plates came about 10-15 min in. Those 2 plates were my parents food, and they started eating. At this point everything is still fine... Well they finished their food by the time the 3rd plate came in. We're about 20+ min in at this point. She took a bite of her food, and said it tasted ok. She had Barbacoa with menudo combo. 5 minutes pass by, and my food is still not there. I decided to go to the restroom, came back still not there. At this point I just wanted to find out how long it'll take to get to me. Well probably after 30 min my food finally came.
Food was was luke warm at best. Eggs felt cold... Beans felt cold. Pork chop had no season or flavor, and it had to be the most pathetic pork chop I've seen in my life. Very small portion... To top it off they forgot my hashbrowns. I go tell the waiter. She says ok and goes and gets it. The bring me out a mush of potato it had the consistency of baby food, and tasted like the refrigerator. I didn't eat it. I ate the eggs, and the pork chop because at this point I was starving and pretty angry. I ate the food payed and left. I will never come back to this restaurant waste of time and money... And you'll only get horrible food.
I had been here a year ago. I ordered the same thing and it was delicious. I don't know what happened, but it went horribly wrong. Also ending this review I went to the restaurant around 5ish in the afternoon. There was only 2 people in the restaurant so it was not busy at all, and to get this quality of food on a non busy day. I don't even want to imaging the food...
Read moreOn Sunday evening I had ordered from Mi Pueblito, I had gotten beef fajita tacos and the chicken/beef fajita nachos. My boyfriend and I had eaten the nachos, we didn't like them, we had saved the fajita tacos for his lunch for Monday. On Monday he had eaten his tacos @12:00 P.M as that is his lunch time, two hours later he is throwing up. He came home early. He had gotten home around 3:00 P.M. From 3:00 P.M. to about 8 he had thrown up 20 times if not more in that time frame. I had to take him the emergency room. He had gotten food poisoning. He stated that the fajita tacos didn't taste good at all so he didn't eat them. We were at the ER for 5 hours. he had gotten 5 iv bags due to dehydration, he also had to get 4 antibiotics through his iv, because he couldn't keep anything down. They did a CT scan along with blood tests, he has an infection from the food poisoning. We did not get home till 3:30 A.M. Two days later and he is still sick with vomiting, nausea, fever, body aches, ect. And that is with the meds the doctor proscribed. In other words we have to go back to the doctor over fajita tacos from this restaurant. I would NOT recommend eating...
Read moreThis place has deteriorated A LOT. To be fair, I will start with the positive: serves breakfast all day, easy to find/ convenient location, and inexpensive prices (you're highest plate will be around $10). The negative: waitresses will rarely come to check on you & will not be attentive to your table, so good luck even getting their attention. Most often than not, waitresses lack a smile or any hint of good customer service. And my most annoying thing and reason why we've changed to another local restaurant, the owner waters down the salsa and beans. I've complained numerous times. They're excuse: chips & salsa are free so customer has no right to complain. Beans will be runny also. Locally owned and owners have no desire to hear customer feedback and/or to improve the service. There's other locally owned Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurants in the area (on the same street), keep driving and try some of...
