Gautreaux Doughnut Kitchen — Restaurant in Rayne

Probably the worst donuts I've ever had. The regular glazed donuts had no flavor other than bread and sugar, the chocolate glaze donuts were thrown away after the first bite. The cinnamon twists were ok, enough to avoid giving a 1 star rating overall.

Staff was friendly, but this location also doesn't make kolaches. Sadly, they won't get much of my business though I'd love to support them.

I wish that I could give them more stars... Short version.... We asked this bakery if they could make us some maple bars.(not available anywhere else). So by request a dozen maple bars were made for us this morning. They were the MOST AMAZING maple bars I have ever tasted. I would show pictures but they are all gone. Being from a large city where donut shops are packed, The Donut Kitchen is a remarkable change. They appear to do more drive - thru orders than in house. Ok. Let’s stop with the formalities.
