I really hate to be one of the people to talk negatively of a place, and it takes alot for me to actually take the time to get online and post a review for anything at all. So with that being said I'll start with saying this place operates at whatever hours they please regardless of what hours they advertise to be open. I work nights and live 30 seconds down the street so I came to this location a lot and at different times of the day. At night I could sit at the speaker for 8 minutes or more multiple times with no response, so much so that I got used to pulling up to the window just to order. Then they want to turn the lights off or the light for the menu and wait as long as possible so they can avoid taking your order. Same in the morning, they'll just pretend to be closed for as long as possible so they don't have to work. I have always loved Wendy's so I tried to let it all go for some time but have come to the point, that even living so close and loving the food, I choose to drive 5-10 minutes out of my way, driving directly past Wendy's, to go to any other fast food establishment who can at least serve me with some sense of mediocrity, let alone decent customer service. This location is a disgrace to the entire company and should be shut down or completely done over. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read into my complaint. Read moreMy wife and 2 of our sons stopped by at 7:32pm on 01/29/14. We ordered our food and about 5 minutes later we got hot fries and hot sandwiches. But the baked potato was not ready. We decided to start eating our hot food. About 10 minutes later the potato was ready. My wife noticed a mouse dropping on the tray. We immediately stopped eating and notified the "manager". He acted like it was nothing. Never had a concern. We asked for our money back and he REFUSED. He called his boss, the "general manager" and proceeded to lie to the GM that we had already ate all our food. One complete sandwich was gone and the other things were only half gone at best and i said that I would pay for the already eaten sandwich. Remember, my wife found the mouse dropping BEFORE she even opened the baked potato. To cut the story short, the manager call the police on us. Of course, there was nothing they could do. Needless to say we left there half full, out $22 and No one caring. I did take pictures and post to Facebook and alerted KCTV5 news. We left a message for the Health Department but have yet to hear back. I just feel sorry for taking food away from our 2 year old because he didn't understand why he could not eat his food. I have to imagine the staff was pranking me based on the interaction. That, or they are kids that just do not care about the restaurants reputation. Plain means nothing on the sandwich. When you order a modified sandwich first, your second meal is the same sandwich and you ask for everything that comes with the sandwich to be made regular, that does not mean add every ingredient you can find in the restaurant to the sandwich. Paid for the same sanwich 2x for it to be incorrect. If there is a manager reading I would love to receive my money back for my $50+ dollar order to not feed my family. You'll find 2 receipts on the same card within 30 mins (yes, I waited for 30 mins in the drive thru with 1 car behind me and 6 employees standing).Seems like service is getting worse and worse.
