This sweet colorful small restaurant popped up when I googled “good Mexican restaurants near me” in the town of Reading. I had their Breakfast Huevos Rancheros which was delightfully fresh and tasty. I even was asked how I liked my eggs cooked which was over easy and done silky soft. They came sprinkled with dustings of Mexican cheese on a bed of very tomatoey salsa dressed beautifully on crispy tortilla surrounded in a field of yellow rice refried beans cooked just right. Their homemade green and red chilli sauce is a must have for added zesty flavoring. Family owned and operated by mother, brother and son, it was a dream come true for mommy Maria when they started the restaurant a rough 2 years ago during the pandemic. Still holding on to that dream, it’s double thumbs up to them! Generous portions, reasonable prices make this place well worth a visit for locals...

I have to say, I was skeptical. The last few places we tried were nothing to get excited about. But, walking into this place, I noticed things. It was very clean. There were half a dozen people inside waiting for their orders. It just smelled good in there and felt very cozy. The staff was on point. It wasn't a minute or two before they greeted us. Excellent menu options. I recommend the Carne Esada platter and the mixed fajitas were excellent. Look, we waited a bit for our food, but it was so fresh, and it smelled amazing(worth the wait). I damn near stopped on the way home to sneak a bite.. Our food was still piping hot when we got home, and not a single person had anything left after we ate. Well done,...

Terrible customer service. Ordered delivery did not recieve all my food. Called to rectify and twas hung up on. Don't order from here. Now that you have responded. Let make sure we are clear on all this. The order was in a sealed bag from the restaurant. The delivery driver only can deliver what was put in the bag by the restaurant. Then the fact that when I called the restaurant the persons spoke very broken English and said that they are out of what I ordered. So please let's not pass the blame. This restaurant clearly doesn't care about the service they are giving and would rather pass it on than try and take responsibility and...

Gotta thank Casa Cortes for introducing me to the Birria phenomenon. Not sure why it took so long to get to Berks. That consommé is so gosh darn delicious. It's like the Mexican version of the French dip. Tacos and quesadillas you can dip in a rich, dark beef broth. A match made in heaven. Minus one measly little star for lack of fajita sides. No lettuce, pico, cheese, or sour cream? It was basically the chicken, peppers, and flour tortillas. None of the standard fajita toppings to speak of. Such a shame.
