I was looking for a venue to host my twins 16th birthday party on October 11th. But i couldn't find anything nice. It's either a bad location or the venues were not eye catching. So I continued looking and there it was. The Abraham Lincoln venue. I decided to call. I spoke to someone on the phone She was very pleasant. I made my appointment and went in to speak with her. First I must say. It's very rear to find someone pleasant in places like this. Diana was exceptional. I didn't get the date i wanted because they were booked out. But i got a booking for a week earlier which worked out well.She did everything to help us through our event. I can call or text her twenty time for the day. And not ones was i disappointed. She was always willing to answer every questions or concerns I had. The place is very beautiful. We got the hall with the balcony. It had everything we needed. And the view was very nice. Diana even found me a decorator who did an awesome job decorating the hall. My kids loved it. So I would like to say. Thank you Diana for all your help. You are an amazing person. Anyone looking for a venue to host your event. The Abraham Lincoln is the perfect place. Just give her a call. You won't be disappointed. I originally retained the venue about 9 months prior to the event and cancelled, but inquired about moving back to the venue because of weather - and she went above and beyond to make my event special and seamless. She truly made me feel taken care of. She is warm, professional, and caring - and I would work with her a million times over.
The venue has an old time charm that is unlike anything I found when looking for somewhere to host the event. We had a small-ish event of 50-60 people, and the suite was perfect to have enough room to dance, but not feel too empty or too overcrowded. Load-in and load-out was easy, and coordinating everything with the caterers was easy too.

Read moreWe recently hosted an event for 100 people in the Roosevelt Room of the Abraham Lincoln Hotel. It was wonderful. We had a large dining room, an auxiliary dining room where we set up the buffet, a bar room, and the balcony which provided additional tables and seating.
The venue was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The space was well equipped and met all of our needs. Bathrooms were also very clean and easily accessible.
