El Punto Boricua — Restaurant in Reading

This hurts my heart to say because I'm a proud Puerto Rican and I love my culture. I went there for my lunch break and the only selection was rice and beans and pork chops that were sitting out for several hours they were really dry and tough there was no flavor. I ordered the puertorican chinese meal with pepper steak. Some quesitos, potato balls and some cielito lindo empanadas. Im sorry to say food was low quality. Rice was salty and very dark assuming they over did it with soy sauce. Wasnt at all like the ones they sell in PR. The empanadas were ok. Quesitos barely had cheese. Potato balls were bland. No flavor whatsoever. Pepper steak had no peppers and barely any onions. Meat itself was good. Fries looked like they were fried in old oil. I didnt even eat them. The rice only took one bite and it made my stomach sick. Will not return. This is my honest opinion.
