FirstEnergy Stadium is one of the best stadiums in all of minor league baseball! The stadium was built more than 70 years ago and is really both a stadium and a hall of fame. The team displays its history all around the stadium like no other team. Philadelphia Phillies greats like Mike Schmidt, Robin Roberts, and Ryan Howard all played here. The views and sightlines from all parts of the stadium are excellent. There really aren’t any bad seats here. Looking out to the outfield, you will see the Radner’s Event Center which is a perfect backdrop. If you sit along the third base or leftfield lines you can see parts of the city of Reading and the surrounding hillsides. The first base line and right field have nice views of the field as well. There are also convenient picnic areas along the first base and third base lines. The outfield has a bar and other nice areas to take in the game from. No matter where you sit you’re never very far away. Walking around the stadium you will find many murals of the greats who have played here. Concession stands are easy to locate and serve up local favorites like Berks hotdogs and Manny’s fries. Don’t forget to try the pretzels here. National, regional, and craft beers are all sold here too. The team store located near the front of the stadium is huge and has a large selection of merchandise. Take a moment to see the monuments the stadium has for veterans as well. They are well placed and thoughtful. You will notice that the costumes for in game entertainment here are second to none. The entertainment here might be some of the best anywhere. The game does include a unique hotdog toss giveaway as well as a pretzel toss give away. Where else would you ever see a man riding an ostrich tossing hotdogs into the crowd? There is a Taylor Swift mural here, because Taylor Swift grew up here. Of course they have in-game Taylor Swift trivia as well. It is best to purchase a pregame parking pass. The lots can fill up quickly and a pass will guarantee entrance. Tickets for the game should be purchased ahead of time online. You are bound to have a great time here in one of America’s...
Read moreWho wants to pay for parking? Nope not me since 1967 parking at the Reading Fighting Phil's was always free (Phillies despite going cashless this season still expensive) I spent very low money here at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading Berks County PA this place has been very gentle on my wallet
even if this place somehow goes cashless I still won't worry about how much I spend even at the Santander Arena for the Reading 🦁 🏒 games I worry less about what I buy even if it sounds expensive it's still cheap
I still haven't got a reply back about what's new at this place because I read during off season of 2021 they renovated the FirstEnergy Stadium and I yet need to know what's brand new this season What brand new concession food stands are featured in the stadium this baseball season
So question is with parking at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading Berks County PA always free why would anyone want to spend overpriced expenses at the philadelphia Phil's games at citizens bank park?
Manny french fry stand $7.46 for a large size of🍟 sounds much cheaper than $12.00 at the phillies games
🌭 regular size $1.73 jumbo $2.57 Phillies $3.98 (reg.) $6.62 (jumbo)
I also bring my own souvenir cups to save on 🌳 and help mother 🌎 I usually use my Reading Royals souvenir cup or my music musikfest 🥤as long as it's cleaned and clear coloring especially on a very hot day
Also when I go to the Reading Fightin Phil's ⚾️ games I bring my plastic fork and dipping cups this place let's me since I know they don't have dipping cups and forks available after the uncertainty of the covid19 cancelation
My question is what song do they play for the bungle drum cam it's awesome
If you want to go to a Ball game without spending a whole ton of 💰go to the Reading Fightin games and you'll have lots of fun they know how to get the...
Read moreThe Reading Fightin Phils fight opponents like I fight crime - fiercely. Visited “Baseballtown” USA to see the Fightins (Phillies AA team) play the Portland Flying Seadogs (Red Sox AA team). It was a special night - Batman Night! The entire team wore Batman Jerseys. The crazy hotdog vendor sang take me out to the ballgame in Batman’s voice. Their team store even personalized a BatmanJawn Fightins Jersey just for me. In the team store, I got my picture atop Rodrigo, the ostrich that the “crazy hotdog vendor” rides. One of the many highlights of the night.
The stadium is beautiful. Weekend games are especially crowded. If you buy general admission tickets for an evening game, be sure to get there early and sit on the 3rd base side. That will keep the sun from burning your retinas like SupermanJawn.
If you don't want to risk your car being hit by a fowl ball, park closer to the main road. The main entrance to the park will spit you out along the first base side. You can travel underneath the Grand strand to get as far as left field. A kiddie swimming pool in right field, brand new event center in center field, and all you can eat buffet in left field - what more could you ask for?
Don't miss their MEGAblast fireworks shows, always a hit.
Reading PA has had a baseball team since 1883 (before Batman existed) The stadium opened in 1951, and it has been the Phillies affiliate since 1967. Here's to many more years of Fightins baseball in Baseballtown,...
