This is great place for high energy latino clubbing. It is a latin cuisine and dance lounge, with hookahs and a few famous performers who perform live. The place is small. But would deff recommend in the warmer times of the year cause the outside opens up and its as if you're in a slice of dr (dominican republic) there is a pool table, you pay per game. It is a dollar by quarters, they have a machine that exchanges 1 5 and 10 dollar bills for quarter. Has amazing food. Would recommend seafood dishes like the red snapper ( both boca chica style and its steamed version) there are many other diverse plates for all different occasions, the chef (Luis) and his culinary team are great at their respective dishes. My favorite place to go and draw. If you want to eat go early, if you want to dance and socialize, go late. Hookah is also available. Salsa Sundays has such a great vibrant cultured feel in the ambience. Overall, they capture the essence of latin party culture. I as a Dominican american born in NYC love the feel of this place.
It is a night joint, so be prepared for everything that comes with that. Security is pretty great though and are quick to extinguish any situation that may occur.
Love for this place, the people and their food. Pray they continue to strive. It is family owned and the owners and their family are great people and mean well always....
Read moreI have never had a more frustrating experience at a night club before. When we arrived we were told we had to purchase a bottle in order to occupy a table. If you didn’t want want to spend $150+ on a bottle Im not sure where you were supposed to go because the place was so packed with tables (no chairs btw) and people that we couldn’t even dance, move- nothing. We got there early and the whole night they were bringing in more tables packing more people in. At one point we couldn’t even get out from behind our table. People were knocking things over trying to get around it all, it was a mess. Our server was so rude! When my husband asked her the bottle prices she said she didn’t know and acted like she couldn’t figure it out. When he got upset and asked for a new server she accused him of being too broke and cheap to purchase a bottle of his choice despite the price. If it hadn’t been for the fact that we had already purchased a $200 bottle when it got crowded, we would have left and gone elsewhere. All of our friends agreed, we will NEVER go to this establishment again. *On a positive note, the DJ was excellent. Too bad we...
Read morePlace is ok , We had a little incident which I don't think was handled properly. We were a group of 8 from Allentown and 2 from The group ordered the seafood bags , they said that the food tasted like soap, which we let the waitress know, the owner along with another woman, came to my table very upset, claiming that their business costs a million dollars and that they would never have poor quality food, unfortunately the conversation rose in tone so there was much argument because there was no reason to lie, they made a mistake in the kitchen and the customer has the right to make a complaint, period . After all they tried to calm things down by giving us a round of drink . the rest of the food was delicious though , I ordered a seafood soup, my husband a churrasco and everything was...
