Foley's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Reading

I can't say anything bad about the place. Its a bar first off, and some of the reviews honestly what do some of you expect?

This is a place where the entire neighborhoods sports team and family or other event will come in 50 people deep without ANY notice (apparently) and expect top notch service. As someone who comes here, maybe some of you should realize that those regulars are just as irritated with your 30 kids running around the place like a playground dumping out condiments and throwing things, while you sit and get crocked.

On nights that typically arent busy there is usually only a couple girls working, so if there was training like you said, it most likely was expected to be a night with little business so the kid could learn, not get ransacked all at once.

Sounds like theres some disgruntled former employees on here, and people that no nothing about what its like to work in a bar/restaurant and try to take care of 50+ people at once, while they constantly move seats and their kids destroy the place. Next time go to wendys..see how long they put up with that behavior...i would know..i was one of the regulars who had their night ruined listening to children run around my table, bump into my chair, with no respect for other people who were there!

If i have anything to say bad about the place its that the owners and employees put up with people like this. I come out to have a drink with girlfriends not baby sit your kids to make sure my own night...

Went with two friends and it wasn’t the best experience! Our server was great! Sweet as can be! The pretend bartender not so much. She was offended we didn’t like her drinks she made. We all thought she said the remakes was on the house due to neither being up to par. We left and went out to the parking lot and she ran out yelling at us that we had a tab. Again we all must have misunderstood or she didn’t remember what she said. My friend went in to pay and the bartender helped herself by giving herself a 30% tip!! That’s called fraud if I’m correct. The manager made it right by giving my friend her money back but the problem is that person is still employed there, doing it to others I’m sure. Something tells me that wasn’t her first time, nor her last. So be careful with your bank cards, keep your receipts! The owner(not the manager) tried to justify her actions by asking if my friends account was negative! It wasn’t about the amount, it’s the principle! We was totally willing to go back but not with Jessica there! Do better! Call your customers back like you mentioned you would to update about...

Been here dozens of times and usually very solid. Today was not a good experience. Walked in at about 12:15 and food didn’t arrive until slightly after 1:00. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Cheese was not included in this dish per the menu which is good because I cannot eat chicken and cheese together (Kosher restrictions). They put a heaping pile of cheese in the wrap (despite it not being on the menu) so I had to open it up and scrape it off. Didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes for them to make it again. I double-checked the menu to ensure I didn’t make a mistake and I was proved correct that cheese was not supposed to be included. There were a total of 5 small pieces of chicken in the entire wrap. Ordered a basket of Sweet potato fries and they gave me normal size. I’m glad they messed that part up because the fries were over cooked with no flavor. Probably gonna be taking a break from this place...
