White Castle — Restaurant in Reading

First let me start with the positive it was very clean inside.

Now to the negative. First I was the only person in the lobby and it took almost half an hour to get my order. To be fair the drive thru was rather busy which is why I went inside figuring it would be faster. When I went to pay it was told that the machine at the counter didn't work and she had to ring it up at the drive thru, ten minutes later of watching her like a hawk at the drive thru she still had not brought my card back. Then she started yelling out the window to a truck that was pulling away that he had forgot his card, she was trying to give my debit card to the person driving the truck!!! Of course I spoke up and the "manager" walked over and finally rings up my order and gives me my card back. By now I'm on the phone with my bank checking to see if any other orders had rung up on my card which thankfully none had.

Now people have bad days I get that but, almost giving away access to my bank account, is in my opinion...

I have to drive to the next town to get White castles because the Reading, Ohio white castles food is so terrible. The fries are always soggy, onion chips, always burnt cheese. Sticks are never melted all the way and not crunchy. They’re always soggy. The fries, cheese, sticks and onion chips all taste like they’ve been fried and old Oil that has fried fish in it. The sliders always have the bottom buns, soaked and falling apart. And you can’t hear anything in the drive-through speaker because either the volume is too low or the speaker is going out. And when you say something about it they don’t care. Always have an attitude from the staff. In my opinion, worst white Castle location ever. Thank God I have another White castle Location 3 miles away that actually upholds excellent customer service and the food is always...

We went through the drive thru today, and the person that took the order, also a cashier was rude, we asked her what came on the burgers. She said you can either have them with cheese or plain. So my husband says well does it come with any sauces on them, then she says only onion. So we get the family pack, and we get back to where we are staying and they have pickles on all of them. My husband dislikes pickles alot! So now we would have to drive 25 minutes just to go back just because she didn't feel like doing her job in the. Not to mention we probably easily sit in the drive through for 10 more minutes like we did the first time. Anyways, management should really focus on training for customer service, because...
