Sling 'N Scoops LLC — Restaurant in Red Bud

We had the pleasure of having Sling N’ Scoops serving at my daughter’s wedding on October 8, 2023 and I can’t tell you how happy we were that we decided to have them there. Leading up to the wedding we did a taste testing at the shop in Red Bud, IL. The flavors and quality of their ice cream just absolutely blew me and my wife away. (The shop is so charming also.) Katie and Kyle are so wonderful and friendly that it really made working with them a real pleasure. They are just a great team and both wonderful people. On the day of the wedding, Katie and Kyle had a special flavor set aside just for me that I barely touched (because of my nerves) but one thing I didn’t have to stress about was if the guests were enjoying the ice cream. I can’t say enough nice things about how awesome Katie and Kyle, the owners, are and how delicious their ice cream is! We knew we wanted to offer another dessert in addition to cake and we are so glad our venue recommended Sling n Scoops! From the email conversations to the tasting to the prompt delivery and positive feedback from the guests, we are were so pleased that we chose to feature this ice cream at our wedding! My only regret is that I didn’t order more than 60 cups for a less than 80 person wedding!!! Guests snatched the cups right up in no time at all and here I was worried we may have a ton leftover! Everything was awesome! The super friendly staff encouraged us to try a bunch of samples and gave great suggestions and details about each flavor!

I had one scoop of Peanut Butter and Jelly in a waffle cone and it was absolutely awesome! One of the best ice cream flavours I've had anywhere! I also tried the Bourbon Bacon flavour which was really tasty and unique with actual bacon mixed into the ice cream.

The prices also seemed exactly like I would expect. I payed $3.25 for one scoop and $.50 for the waffle cone. They also made sure to fill up the cone so for the $.50 you get some extra ice cream too! Also, the prices include tax which is...
