My favorite taco stand in a small town outside of Yellowstone. If you do Yellowstone. Don’t forget to stop in Cooke City. It’s on your way to the Beartooth Pass. This is the spot!! #cookecity #yellowstone #montana

The sign said "Everything made from Scratch". The guy in the Fly shop next door said it was good but portions were too much for him. Sounded like a challenge. Owner/cook was very friendly. Very eclectic "atmosphere" - hippy throw back vibe. I had a pulled pork "sandwich" which was delicious but a knife and fork and many napkins were required... and indeed huge. Great place to sit down at a picnic table on a really cool main street and watch the world go by and have a really great "scratch built" meal.

This place made my day honestly. What a surprise. Probably the best burrito i’ve EVER had. Such a small and unassuming place. Ordered a Burrito with egg, sausage, beans, onions cheese and salsa. The lady seemed to make absolutely everything from scratch and it showed. Damn that salsa was good. I cant thank them enough; I had a long drive to Bozeman and this lunch was a highlight. Highly recommend Wooka’s, will be back annually when we come into town. Just got hungry writing this.

The man at the window was so high he was unable to answer questions. I asked twice about whether the salsa, guac, or sour cream were extra charge. My friend had ordered prior and we were confused about how expensive her total came to. On the second time, he only looked at me and shrugged, and gave a strange half committed head toss that I now know after my bill arrived, meant an extra charge for both salsa, sour cream, and guac. Considering I ordered a main entree item, I would have thought a side of salsa to accompany would have been provided without charge.

The mamacita is an overpriced, dry, and flavorless fajita plate. Seriously, don’t bother. Go get a better meal down the street at one of the cafes. This “meal” was pricier than a salmon plate at...

Absolutely first rate!

Stopped over for a quick dinner on our way into Yellowstone. The decor was certainly what one would consider unconventional but the reviews were so good, I had to give it a go...

I can see why this place is so well reviewed. I placed my order with the very friendly person behind the counter and a few minutes later I was eating One of the best tacos I've ever had - one that also just happened to be vegetarian. They also had their own house-made salsa which tasted fantastic.

Would strongly...

Wooka's catered dinner for my small wedding at a cabin in Cooke City and knocked it out of the park! The food was amazing - fresh and so flavorful - and my guests are still raving about how tasty it was. They were easy to work with, flexible and creative, and proactive about making sure they were hitting our wants and needs. Great by any standards, but we were especially grateful for such a wonderful experience in a small, remote town with limited food options and known summer staffing shortages! Thank you,...
