Pho Nhu Y Vietnamese Kitchen — Restaurant in Red Oak

For a restaurant that has only been open for three days so far - the service was quick, food came out hot, tasting fresh, and we were served our dishes a lot faster than I thought it would take, especially being a newly established business.

I have had Vietnamese cuisine all over the world (military life) & y’all…. Let me tell you!!! The pho was definitely top of my list!!! The meat was tender and each bite had EXPLOSIVE flavor! It didn’t taste like frozen, unflavored meat just thrown in to broth… The broth didn’t taste “instant” and it was just super satisfying! We got the shrimp Rangoon as well- which was super creamy and yummy! Didn’t taste shrimpy and overwhelming- and had more cream cheese flavor…. The spring rolls were spot on! They were generous with the filling and the peanut butter sauce was perfect! We tried the pot stickers and they were awesome too! Didn’t taste “frozen”…you can just tell that the dough was fresh… My son had the pork on a stick meal (couldn’t remember the actual name of it) and rice with veggies 🥒🍅& almost never finishes his plate - but this time - he barely had anything left … he said there was just too much to finish but he loved it and would definitely come back! We ordered a combination fried rice - to which they may not have heard us place the order in the beginning … but when we inquired on the status- though we said to disregard- the owner insisted and still gave it to us on the house! Super kind and friendly service! The best part is that they are in Red Oak - close to home!!! Definitely coming back!!!...

We were feeling a bit under the weather, so we decided to finally give Pho Nhu Y a try! From the pho to the customer service, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Our waitress, Summer was so helpful, accommodating & friendly. She brought me scissors so my daughter could eat the noodles better. One of the cooks, was so helpful explaining how to eat pho and loved chatting and high-fiving my 2 y/o. And the owner was so friendly and kind, he gave my daughter an ice cream sandwich and then many candies to try! We ordered the veggie spring rolls & Chicken Pho, everything was so fresh. You can tell they absolutely use fresh ingredients and put a lot of care into their food. If you’re a pho lover, it’s a must try. If you’re not, I still recommend giving them a try because it’s THAT good. Thank you so much Pho Nhu Y for such an amazing experience, really made our day! We will be regulars! We were welcomed just fine, self seating. Shrimp spring rolls were great. My GF enjoyed her small beef pho, but when it came to mine it was a different story. I ordered white chicken Pho, verified if they could do it since it wasn't on the menu. The waiter said yes and I went over to him to inform him I want white chicken. What they brought out was my pho with wing style chicken, like plain bone-in chicken wings in my pho. Unsure if this is how they serve it or they just ran out of the sliced white chicken. I've never been disappointed with chicken pho before, until that day. Service was ok, only interaction with the waiter was ordering food, drinks and the time I got up to tell him about it wanting white chicken, because I wasn't asked what type I wanted prior.
