Snowflake Donuts Red Oak — Restaurant in Red Oak

We only have donuts on Saturday mornings, it's just become a tradition if you still. And I used to love this place. But here the past few months, if not longer, it's either under new ownership or management. And there's a big difference. But this morning was enough for me. First they didn't even have what I wanted. So I went with a very simple order: Two chocolate, two glazed, dozen donut holes, two jumbo jalapeno and cheese, and a coke. For some reason the lady filling my order chose to put all my order in separate small bags. Okay the two jumbo jalapeno and cheese and the donut holes I get. But my two chocolate donuts went into a small paper bag and my two glazed went into another small paper bag. Not a box, like I normally get with my order, but small paper bags. By the time I got home my entire order, except the jumbo jalapeno and cheese sausages, were melted into these small paper bags. Stuck to the bags. As we tried to pull the donuts and donut holes from the bag they just began to fall apart and did end up ripping the bag a little. The chocolate donuts looked like glazed donuts, as all the chocolate was stuck to the interior of the paper bag. Sucks seeing a 2 year old sad because she didn't get her chocolate donut she loves on Saturday mornings. Just pieces of donut with no chocolate. Donut holes in pieces. Glazed donuts in pieces. But at least the jumbo jalapeno and cheese sausages were fine.

Time to find another donut...

So I went to get some breakfast, drive thru attendant was rolling her eyes upon arrival. I placed an order, left a tip, eye rolling the entire time, only to drive off and realize I was missing items. I drove all the way back, went inside the lady behind the counter was assisting another customer. I was waiting when the same drive thru attendant walked by and said hello someone will be with you in a moment. I was shocked she didn't recognize me I was just in her drive thru, but they see alot of people so I informed her of the missing items. They were givin to me no problem, however the attitude from the drive thru attendant needs work. I've lived here all my live and came here alot, I will not anymore. Food is great always, however attitudes effect people's days and this needs work for sure. Red Oak doughnut always has a positive atmosphere and I will return there!! Your doughnuts are better, however there positivity is a winner! On another note everyone inside was smiling in the back and positive, those ladies were rocking it! There food was again amazing! I have been going to this place since moving to red oak and today was the worst experience. I went to drive through and ordered a dozen glazed donuts and then was told they don’t have any and asked if I wanted a variety box. I figured the variety of donuts would be fine…nope. I should have looked at them before driving off bc when I got home the donuts were clearly old my kids wouldn’t even eat them and the only reason why I didn’t take the box back was bc I had to get ready to leave for an event.
