I went here today with my 8 year old niece. First of all, it was very clean...from the parking lot to the inside. The lady that served us in the counter was so friendly and talked about great customer service, she should be able to be used as an example how McDonald's employees should serve the public...with a smile. She made our ordering so smooth. Unfortunately, seemed liked the staff working in the back are overwhelmed or just not in sync...and they were not even busy when we came in. My niece ordered a Happy Meal with a plain cheeseburger, extra fries with no salt, chocolate milk, and a regular Oreo McFlurry (her first time having a McFlurry). I ordered a 10 piece Chicken McNugget Meal with a large coke with no ice and large fries with no salt, and a McDouble with Bacon and extra pickles. I also asked for honey as my dipping sauce. When we got our order, we sat down in their dining area, and a rude young man with a McDonald's uniform, without a mask told us we couldn't eat in their dining area and there wasn't a single person around. Okay..there goes half a star. The App said that this branch allowed Dine-in and Drive-thru services. We get back in the car and my niece's hamburger was not wrapped properly that it looked as if someone just threw it in her Happy Meal box, her fries was all over inside the box. Then my McDouble had a tag that said No Pickles No Onions...but my receipt says McDouble with Bacon, extra pickles... my large fries had tons of salt and my Coke had ice and no honey dipping sauce. I went back in to let them know about my order. The nice lady at the counter apologized and told her manager about it but he didn't seemed liked to have cared. I wasn't upset just disappointed that the McDouble they gave me wasn't a fresh one ...they gave me back the the one I returned they just added onions, extra pickles and 2 very limp looking little pieces of bacon. She gave me a free and fresh medium size fries and a new large coke with no ice...and she was very apologetic. I loved that this lady was cool, calm and collect and the lunch crowd was beginning to come in. Okay...that's how this branch recieved 4 stars from me because of this wonderful lady. Management, take note...whoever this wonderful employee is that served me today, you need to send her to Headquarters and put her in a training video or better yet let her be the poster girl for your next campaign. She reminded me of how McDonald's employees used to be. She's a hidden gem...maybe because she value the work ethic better than most today's workers.
Edit 4 weeks later: I came back the same time as before, crew was different. Ruder than ever. Orders were not right. Fries were not fully cooked and tons of salt to get someone's blood pressure to go up. Their Crunchy Buttermilk McChicken looked as if it went on a huge diet...it was so small and soggy that the lettuce and tiny slices of tomatoes hid it underneath the smashed bun! Again, no sauces or condiments. And their family size McNuggets (that's their 20 pieces ones) tasted liked it had been sitting under the heating lamp all day. And when I asked politely, please, if they had a bigger bag like a carry-on to place my big order in, one young lady rolled her eyes at me and handed me a bag rather than putting my orders in it. Another customer was nice enough to help me, and when I thanked her, she responded with, "My pleasure"! This time corporate and franchise gave me a call. (Btw, my niece and cousin got sick after eating this...
Read moreWent through the drive-through today ordered my food confirmed it at the pay window that everything was correct receive my food and drove away. It wasn’t until I was at a stoplight across town that I checked my order and found that it was wrong. It was then that I turned around and headed back to McDonald’s to have them correct the order. At that point I was not upset, mistakes happen all the time. The manager took the incorrect sandwich and rang up a new order for the correct sandwich as I stood in line a second time for that order. After some time went by I asked the manager if she thought it was appropriate that I wait in line a second time well while they filled everyone else’s order before collecting mine, considering that I had already waited in line and it was not my mistake that the sandwich was not correct. Her only reply was I didn’t make that mistake. As a manager she should have informed her kitchen staff to prioritize that order over the others since the mistake was on the McDonald’s staff or even attempted to correct it herself to make sure it was handled correctly . It was at this point that I was frustrated enough to ask for my money back and walk away. Customer service is everything to people, that’s why Chick-fil-A...
Read moreI've been here before where the service was quite horrible. Fortunately, today the young man that served me and my little niece was quite exceptional. I asked him if they are allowing people to use the dining area now, he asked the Assistant Manager and was told that dining area wasn't open at this time. So I made him aware that there were 3 people eating in there...and he said that since no one could see the dining area where they're at it was okay. But, I didn't risked it, just in case. Our food came out hot, the Assistant Manager made sure our fries was done extra crispy...but I wished they remembered not to salt our fries. The young lady handed me a large Sprite, and when I said I ordered a medium...she winked and said she remembered me from last time I was there and got very terrible service from them. Well, I guess after speaking to Corporate and the owners, things has been done to improved this franchise. I see everyone working...the drive thru is now moving faster, and the orders are coming out properly made. I gave them 4 stars because of the dining area rule...and wished the area where you order was...
