Acapulco Grill & Bar happens to share the same address as the hotel on Ethan Allen Highway, but it is an independent restaurant with no affiliation to the hotel. Do not let the location fool you—this place delivers a truly authentic Mexican dining experience that deserves to be recognized on its own.

From the moment you step inside, you are welcomed with genuine warmth. The dim lighting and authentic décor create a cozy atmosphere, and the illuminated bar wall adds a lively, festive touch. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared, perfectly paired with their delicious margaritas.

On our first visit, my husband and I were greeted by Nory Martinez, who welcomed us with the heartfelt phrase, “My house is your house.” It immediately reminded me of how my mother welcomed guests at home—warm, sincere, and inviting. That personal touch made the evening memorable.

The staff here truly elevates the experience. Yamileth, whom we recognized from another restaurant, brings a radiant smile and a personable approach that makes you feel like family. Manny was also wonderful—knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and friendly.

As Ridgefield residents, we are thrilled to have Acapulco Grill & Bar in town. It is already one of our favorite spots, and we look forward to visiting often to enjoy great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and to support this outstanding...

If you're looking for an Authentic!! Mexican experience, this is it! This family-owned gem offers incredible food made with love and authenticity. From the first bite of their fresh, handmade tortillas to the last sip of their rich, flavorful horchata, every dish felt like a warm hug from abuela’s kitchen.

The service here truly sets it apart. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, treating us like family from the moment we walked through the door. They were attentive, friendly, and happy to share the stories behind the dishes.

We tried the molcajete and the carne asada, and both were bursting with bold, fresh flavors. Don’t skip the house-made salsas — they’re a perfect complement to any meal.

This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a heartwarming experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, authentic Mexican food paired with...

In search of authentic Mexican food shortly after moving to Ridgefield, we were told about this place and it has been our favorite ever since!

It’s a family owned business and Nory instantly made us feel welcome. Open since fall 2024, the expanded menu is being served now. (9/28/25) Have to share our favorites!!

Appetizer: Homemade thin chips and salsa… Add the guac! Chile Relleno (appreciate it’s not breaded)

Entree: Pollo a la Crema Chicken Poblano (Amazing Sauce!) w/ mixed vegetables Birrias, Enchiladas, Refried Beans & Cheese Burrito… the new Quinoa vegi dish. All has been tasty!

Tip: Ask for a side of the secret family hot sauce. We LOVE it on the chicken dishes. Never tried anything like it! It’s so creamy but non-dairy. Wish they sold...

Don’t let the location fool you, the restaurant delivers an authentic, vibrant experience that makes it well worth the visit. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Acapulco Grill & Bar! From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is very welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a fun evening with friends. The service was friendly and fast, overall enjoyable vibe. Overall excellent drinks and food, this spot is a must-visit! Highly recommend! 🌮🍹

I ordered the Bistec El Diabla. The steak was so fatty, that half of it was impossible to chew (see attached pic of my chewed up & spit out fat). The chipotle sauce was tasty, so if they can cook a lean piece of meat, this dish will be good. I hope they improve.
