Worst experience of my life in a fast food restaurant. On Sunday (1/26/2020) I came there to get breakfast for my daughter and I. I order the 2 for $2.50 sausage biscuit sandwich. As I'm waiting to get my food I'm watching the man that is preparing my food and he had no gloves on touch everything with his bare hands. As the cashier hand me my food I told him I just wanted a refund because of what I saw and I feel bad for the people that got there food like that. The cashier told me that they can remake it and I said ok (which I shouldn't have). I get to my brother house and I give him a sandwich because my daughter didn't want it and as he looked at it, it looked like there was a bite taken out of it. After that I looked at my sandwich and the sausage party wasn't even sausage it was there beyond patty. I decided to give my sandwich to one of his dogs. But I kept his so I could take it back. After hanging of with him we drove home and on the way I took the sandwich back. I didn't want to talk to just anyone so I asked for the manager. As I wait the same guy is in the back with no glove on again. The funny thing is he was the shift manager and seeing him up close this arms and knocks were so hairy. I told him as a shift manager he should know better to wear glove when preparing ready to eat food. Then after telling him that it wasn't a real sausage party he argued it was there regular sausage patty. Like I never had a breakfast sandwich there before... plz! After awhile he told me to shut up. I said no sir u shut up and give me my refund. After that he gave me back more then what I paid. I decided I was done so I left. In a nug shell dont go he if you see gorilla arms back...
Read moreThis was not the first time i have felt uncomfortable ordering there. I have enjoyed Carls jr since high school in the 70's. In the last 10 years i enjoyed these stores- idaho falls id, colusa ca, -williams ca. Always the food reflects honesty in pictures and is tasty. here in redding i ordered the buy one get one for a dollar big carl. I WAS NEVER ASKED IF I DESIRED SINGLE DOUBLE OR TRIPLE. And it was not clairified either way. So i was very disheartened when i got a GIANT bun with a junior patty on both burgers. My dog and i had been on a long hike and were looking foreward to a good treat. IT DIDNT HAPPEN. just to make sure that i did not misunderstand i googled Big Carl definition= TWO PATTIES TWO CHEESE. Also no distinguishing as to single double or triple. So i drove back to the carls jr store and asked what was included. She listed sauce and lettuce. I asked "no meat/burger?" She said single double or triple at that time. I gave up and left after mentioning misrepresentation. No apology. I WOULD HAVE BEEN GLAD TO SPEND THE DIFFERENCE IF THE OPTION HAD BEEN OFFERED. WONT BE RETURNING...
Read moreIt really depends on who’s working whether or not you’ll get good food. I have been here on a day with a Hispanic gentleman working that gave us delicious fresh food. I have also came on days with kids working. One of the young ladies is a manager I believe with greenish hair an I’ve received horrible food. I’ve had to ask them to remake it. She does it but I hate having to ask them to do that. It’s super inconvenient and awkward for me an it’s annoying for the employees. So can’t we just avoid that an you just do a better job an make fresh food? This was of course in the Drive-Thur. So I have to check my food before leaving to make sure it’s edible. My suggestion would be for anyone to check the food before leaving. The hamburger patties I was given were cold, dry an hours old at least. That’s not following the temperature an health guide...
