My wife and I ate at Rancho Alegre for the first time the other night. Fantastic on every count! My primary Mexican cuisine experience was when I lived not far from the border in Tucson, Az for years but Rancho Alegre beats everything I've eaten before. Very sociable and welcoming, totally casual so wear your jeans. Reservations over the phone are accepted. When you get there say hi to Ron and Mercedes, our wonderful servers and our amazing chef, Arturo.Bring your appetites because the portions are generous and although we had no room for desert we were told that Mercede's Flan is unbelievable. Secret ingredient but I will never tell, lol. Oh, really good drink menu too. Do this, you will be happy!
