Di Maggio Italian Bakery — Restaurant in Redford Township

I ordered a Groupon for this restaurant, because they were in the area. When I called to place my order , a young lady answered the phone and I would say that her tone was not that welcoming She advised me that my Groupon could not be accepted, because the Manager had just left and she could not take a Groupon without him being present. What logical sense that made...especially, if you advertise that you are open until ,6pm . Needless to say that I cancelled my Groupon and have no plans to visit this establishment. Just got off the phone with Megan and hopefully the owner sees this review. Since when does someone who serves customers advise a customer that I could have used my Groupon at a time when a Manager was available, and whose to say when that would be. I didn't know service was based on the convenience of a business. Nevertheless I run a business and this employee should develop people skills or find a new place of employment. The unemployment line is stacked with people who will make a business shine and sadly this Megan misses the mark...

PACZKI !! Based on my Daughter-In law's recommendation we tried DiMaggios's...Best Paczki we've had in years! I rarely leave reviews but over the last few years I have tried several different Paczki at various bakeries and always hit or miss until now...we tried 4 of their flavors and everyone was perfect! Great Variety of flavors & they did not skimp on the filling which for us makes the Perfect Paczki, first time everyone in my family agreed that they were the best PACZKI yet! Finely Found our PACZKI PLACE! On another Note this is not just a bakery they are a Deli which I am dangerous in a Deli because I want to try everything and this was no exception tried several of their pasta salads every one was very good and the real treat was their Stuffed Cabbage Meals that were delicious again my family enjoyed everything we tried. Everything was reasonably priced and EXCELLENT customer service really friendly which made my day! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself DiMaggio's will...

I seen the video from Chow down Detroit and I wanted to try DiMaggio's, I was in the area so I stopped by and got a couple of pepperoni breads. They were very reasonably priced and very good sized for the money. I took them home and heated one up for dinner that night and I have to say it was quite delicious. I had bought two and was going to save one for my wife but she wasn't there so the next day I ate it for lunch. Sorry babe! Spoke with the owner for a few minutes about the video review and the restaurant / bakery business and he was a very nice guy. I need to come back here and get some more pizza rolls because my wife's not going to forgive me, And I want to try some of his other...
