Mariscos El Tarasco — Restaurant in Reedley

Went on a Saturday for lunch. It was no busy at all. The service was super slow and bad. First of all, the torta was so small. I asked the waitress about the size before ordering so I could order something else with it. She told me that it was big. It took a while to get the food ready even though it was not busy. When she brought it to me, it was so small that she even apologized. First, they should let the customer know about this. Probably big enough to feed a little kid. For the second order. The carne asada, the pepper was so raw. She brought all our plates but not the tortillas. Waited some minutes then I when to ask why they were talking so long. Even after that, took them some time to gave me the tortillas. When they gave us the tortillas, we were already half way eating it. After that, they didn't get close to the table for around 15 minutes to check if we were needing something. I had to stand up to ask for the receipt and waited another 10 minutes.

The seasoning of the food was good and that is the only reason for the 2 starts.

This restaurant it is not really worth it. The service is bad, so little food for a restaurant that expensive. In the photos, it looks like there is plenty of food in the plates but plates are small compared to a standard restaurant.

There are better options...

If i could give 0 stars i would...a year aago was my first visit and was an unpleasent one service is terrible. No one offered to seat us down as we came in we had to find our own table took 10 mins for any one to notice us. 15min later we had drinks and had our order taken, but we noticed other people that came in way after us had their food one table had fajitas a cocktail an plenty of other time consuming dishes, while we were waiting on 8 simple tacos.after everyone been served but us and almost 40 mins later i had enugh we got up and left. A year later i thought i give it a second chance. It was the same story all over again we waited so long for simple tacos that never came that we just got up and left. Never again. If u want good food and super fast and proper service go to Tijuanas in fresno much...

Went to this place for the first time last night. The staff was super warm and friendly, and the Spanish music selection was great - I wanted to dance away from my table! They serve fresh, homemade chips and salsa as you sit down, and the salsa is the perfect mix of hot and flavorful. We ordered some fresh Guacamole to go with our chips and salsa and that turned out to be a perfect combination! The portion of guacamole was very generous and delicious. My friend ordered the Chile Rellano, which comes with rice and refried beans, cojita and tortillas. This place makes their own homemade corn tortillas! They gave us two each with our meal, and I had no idea a corn tortilla could taste so good; they were amazing! I had the Chile Verse and it is the best Chile Verse I've tasted in this...
