El Caporal Taqueria — Restaurant in Reidsville

Me my husband & our 2 kids ages 10, 4. Went to eat there for the first time about 8pm. Usually when we go to those types of restaurants they give out chips and salsa. We waited awhile to get our chips, but other customers didn't. Our waitress was Julia she placed our ordered, but we waited awhile for our chips...before the food came out. I asked her do we not get any chips and salsa her respond was " Oh I am so sorry I don't work these days so they told me to come in ". I'm not understanding what the world did that have to do with her forgetting to bring us chips and salsa. Our tortas was not all that good. Taquitos were great! Tea was too sugary! We...

Great food! The best chile relleno ever (not some lame burger patty, the real thing, and soooo good!). The staff is friendly, too.

Edit update: used to like them a lot more, but they have relatively high prices (which keep increasing) and they don't offer many meat selections on most of their dishes (only chicken, which I consider a bit plain & dry, or steak, which I consider a bit grisly & fatty, offered for most dishes). Taste is still pretty good, but I used to pay more for substitutions which they no longer offer, even though pork is cheapest... Now I would rather just...

My family was ignored when we walked in. Took 5 minutes to get a menu, then we continued to sit. Someone walked by to give drinks to someone else and we tried to get their attention so we could order to which we were told “not right now.” Two more parties walked in and they were quickly serviced while we were continuously ignored. We got up and left, again no one saying anything.
