Normally me my family and friends love to come this place On the regular over any other Mexican restaurant in reidsville. We were rushed the entire time by our waiter because they were going to be closing in a hour and 20 mins. we were only there maybe 45 mins the whole time.our waiter had glasses and clown looking red hair. This was the second time we had him and the first time we had him wasn't the best either. He got even more impatient as my husband and daughter went to wash up as we got there before placing our order which is normally what we do at any place. When he came back to take our order and saw they weren't there he threw his hands up in the air and stormed back into the back. Mind you we hadn't been there but maybe 5 mins. Not even enough time to look at the menu smh..He kept mumbling under his breath when he would walk off each time he left our tAble. He returned to our table about 10 mins later and took our order and had a really bad attitude. No refills no nothing we asked for. if we got napkins and a fork BC my daughter dropped hers it was from somebody else. When we got our food mine didn't taste right so I ate the rice because I wasn't about to dare ask for anything else from this nasty rude waiter. When my husband went to order desert we were told the grill was closed it was about 1030 pm by this point. As my husband was getting ready to get the money out of his wallet he was counting the change out for the 65 cents and the waiter comes and scoops it up and sees that its the exact change and says to us ummm do you think you can help me out with a tip because its not included in the bill.. like are you serious!! he really had the audacity! Then stormed off again. We always tip something because I use to be a waitress for years and know they live off of tips. regardless this time I really didn't want to tip him anything. But left him 5 bucks anywAy. So as we go to the front to tell the manager along with a friend of ours that also had him as a waiter that was also complaining aBout him. He hears us and says OHH!! SO YOU Don't WANNA TIP ME??? COME GET YOUR CHEAP TIP! AND THROWS IT ON THE FLOOR.. In front of the manager and he start cussing us in Spanish. And slinging stuff the manager in Spanish starts telling him to shut up and get back to work or go to the back. He didn't listen and kept on speaking really fast now. my daughter 7 yrs old by this time was terrified. my husband at this time seeing that he scared our daughter had enough of his disrespectful self was ready to take him around back. The manager said sorry have a goodnight and that was it. Me and my family and a lot my friends will not be returning to this Mexican restaurant until they can get ahold of this...

The mug wasn't cold, the beer wasn't cold enough, it tasted a little flat, and was garnished with a badly bruised lime slice on the rim of the glass. My wife's fruity mixed drink wasn't very fruity but at least had a decent amount of alcohol in it to mask the bad food that followed. The chips were ok but the salsa tasted like canned tomato paste with very little added ingredients. I got the Diabla Tacos. Ok flavor but very dry with overly cooked steak and drowned in onions. I also felt there was something missing from it. My wife ordered some shrimp queso dip that was extremely runny and had way more fishy smell than normal(so much so that you could taste the scent while eating your other food). The shrimp was also very soft and spongy. We didn't finish it. She also ordered a simple cheese quesadilla which was soggy and cold and a chile relleno that was watery inside with no seasoning to the meat. My daughter also had that problem with the meat in her kids burrito. She said she did like her hard taco though. I tried it and it too tasted very bland. All of our rice was very dry/hard almost as if it sat out for a long time or was dehydrated. In fact the only food they did get right during our visit wasn't even Mexican food, it was my son's kids chicken fingers. Another positive is that our waiter was nice. The younger staff gave of that "I don't want to be here" vibe though and weren't very friendly. To get a taste of what this type of food and service should be like, I invite the residents of Reidsville and workers of this establishment to venture past Reidsville's borders to other cities, like Greensboro. There you will find Casa Vallarta, La Fiesta, and La Hacienda(just to name a few). I've experienced friendlier customer service, more consistent cooking, fresher ingredients, fresher beer, and well made mixed drinks at all 3 of...
Read moreThe very first time I went to the restaurant the food was delicious. I ordered a Mexicano Burrito. But today 5/1/25 when I went my food did not meet my expectations. I ordered a combination dinner of two chicken burritos. When the burritos came out both had sauce on it. Had I known that I would have said no sauce just plain. I politely asked the server may I replace the two burritos without any sauce (in other words plain)? The server said well this time I will replace it but the next time it cannot be replaced. Since I am paying for my food I expect to get my money's worth. It is not like I go to the restaurant often to know what to tell them about how I want my food. Anyways, my burritos were replaced but this time it had cheese sauce on them.
If it was not for my daughter wanting them I would have spoken directly to the manager and informed the manager I wanted two plain chicken burritos without any sauce.
Will I go back? I will NOT anytime soon. Honestly, I should have listened to my daughters and went to McDonald's or ate at my favorite restaurant in Greensboro which is Logans.
Unfortunately, I did waste money this time I asked for two plain burritos without sauce. Not all customers are regulars. The server could have told me what all was going to be on them so I could say no plain will be fine. But, the employer at the register was super friendly and the dining rooms were super clean. I will give them that. But the food did NOT meet my expectations neither...
