Burger Me! in Reno, the Shardlands location, has exceptional service and a menu that offers something exciting for everyone. I've had a Caesar salad there and it was terrific. So, there's truly something for everyone. The staff is also really attentive and friendly, making every interaction a joy. I've watched the management coach employees and they were super kind and effective in doing so.
But enough about the environment; on to our favorite foods! The onion rings are a standout side, most outstanding for their crispiness and light breading. They're a perfect balance of both. Without fail, and we order them every time since we discovered their excellence, they're superb when it comes to flavor, crisp, size, and breading.
The NV Elk Burger is a rare treat, though I prefer it medium rare. It's juicy and delicious, and the bacon and Swiss cheese balance out the lean meat with some fabulous flavor. I find it hard to not order it every time, but having tried the Smash Burger, I'm glad I resisted on that occasion. It's a phenomenal Smash Burger; crispy on the edges and as juicy as it gets, with a nice, sharp flavor to the fixings.
The Dirty Bird sandwich is my wife's more sensible choice. It's got some fierce flavor to it, and has never failed to please. It comes out not too juicy, not too seasoned, and hits all the marks. A chicken sandwich that's well worth the mess, this one is worth the drive.
We go here practically every weekend, and will enjoy continuing to do so. We hope you try it out and...
Read moreSorry guys, but I don't have a lot of respect for Guy Fieretti whatever, Triple D. Does he ever go somewhere, eat something, spit it out and say "wow, winner winner, don't eat this for dinner"? So just because HE went there, does not mean anything really. It's a TV show and nothing more. Allow me to be real because the only time I was on TV was on "America's Most Wanted"
I'd wanted to try Burger Me for awhile and we stopped in. My G/F had the Bison and I Had the Gyro burger. (I am a GYRO GUY). I wanted to see how they made a burger taste like a gyro. Well, they didn't. I had a dull, unseasoned lamb patty with gyro fixen's, but lacking any gyro spice. My G/F said the same of her bison. "It needs something. Salt and pepper, something". Mine had way to much Feta and that was all I tasted. And I am not a fan of romaine, and I've had Gyro's from coast to coast and I only remember iceberg lettuce on them. Maybe instead of a bun (That they charge extra for) a nice flat bread would be better.
Garlic fries.....AWESOME. Onion rings.......GREAT!
But for $37.00 I expected more flavor. I give 3 because of the staff, fries and rings. But for the price, I just can't see us coming back for that great burger we expected. It just didn't hit the mark, actually, not...
Read moreI am usually very discerning when selecting restaurants, particularly due to my background in restaurant and bar design, which has given me insight into the operational aspects of the industry. However, prior to meeting friends, I sought a quick meal and, attracted by the visibility of a burger establishment from the freeway, decided to stop in. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Sky, who welcomed me with a warm smile despite the busy environment. I am typically cautious about my food choices, particularly regarding cleanliness and the quality of oil used for cooking, yet I was advised to try the Cowboy Burger accompanied by a beer, a pairing that sounded quite appealing.
To avoid the crowded interior, I opted to dine outside where I was promptly served a beautifully presented burger at a clean table. After enjoying my meal, I expressed my gratitude by providing a generous tip to Sky for the exceptional service I received. I left the establishment with the intention of returning with friends and family, hoping to replicate the positive experience I had...
