I ordered spicy house fried rice. It's my staple go-to for takeout. It's been awhile since I've had it and I usually go to a place closer to home but I wanted to give this place a try. The dish was not bad, but my stars reflect the quality and flavor in my opinion and comparing to all the other house fried rice I've had and other places. I was disappointed to find that there is an extra charge to get any sauce outside of soy sauce. That was a first for me. You are also not told that when you are asked if you want sauce. I had to ask if there was a charge. There is also nowhere to sit inside and eat. If you are stopping for lunch and didn't want to sit outside then be prepped to sit in a car. The only booth was reserved for employees only. I was miles from home and only able to stop for a short time. Something like house fried rice in the takeout container may spoil over, it's not ideal to have to eat in my car. Upside of that is that the container was stuffed to the brim. Very generous for the price. All in all this is a mid level Chinese takeout. The person who helped me was polite.

GA DAMN! THIS THE BEST CHOW/LO MEIN I HAD IN RENO SO FAR. PERFECT SIZED NODDLES NOT TOO THIN OR TOO THICK. NOT MUSHY AT ALL. THEY KNOW HOW TO SEASON THESE NOODLES WITHOUT THEM BEING TOO GREASY LIKE MANY PLACES AND THEYRE CHEAPER! this will be my go-to for chow mein now. i’m so happy and it’s right by my job. i normally put extra soy sauce on my noodles but these didn’t need anything else!!! once i took a bite out of these i couldn’t stop munching and knew i needed to leave a good review ASAP. they deserve it. 1000/10 thank you! (:

I'd probably give this spot a two and a half. They seemed like a good spot to try out, but half of their specials they dont honor. They're in store menu says 20 dollar orders for delivery. Online it says 25 dollars for delivery. The store wasnt willing to work with me as far as being able to make a platter of half and half chow main and fried rice, and I spent 27 dollars on a very small portion of food that didnt taste the best. The chinese stores at the mall are way more affordable and honestly have more flavor.

I left a bad review when this restaurant was "Armani Chef" under different owners.

I am updating this review because the new owner/new cook made all the difference!

We went in to the restaurant under the new owner/new cook. I am giving it 5 stars now. The food was VERY tasty, flavorful and not greasy like a lot of asian food in the area. The waitress/owner was extremely helpful, quite polite and took the time to answer all of our questions about their different dishes. We used a coupon from their take-out menu for some free crab rangoons (there are three coupons to choose from).

I have read the other poster's comment about slimy food... We tried several different dishes and none of them were slimy! They even prepare authentic pot stickers with such great flavor. It's really hard to find good pot stickers that aren't deep fried or steamed to death in this town. These were pan-fried and lightly steamed like a good pot sticker should be and were accompanied by the perfect hoisin-based sauce.

Nice staff, great food at reasonable prices! They...

I have ordered from China Kitchen for a few years now. The food used to be excellent. However, the last two post COVID orders have been horrible. What used to be flavorful is now bland as cardboard. What used to be succulent is now dry as leather. They charge a premium price for Chinese and a ridiculous delivery fee, and I'm OK with that if the food is top shelf.

Sadly Panda Express had more flavor and half the price than my last two $80+ dollar order.

After years of patronage, I am sorry to say that I will not be ordering from...
