Probably some of the worst service I have ever had at a Port of Subs! Did this place change ownership? First off I felt like we were rushed to place our order! We walked in and before we were at the counter, we were asked what they could start making. After choosing our sandwich choice I noticed the store was a mess. A pair of eye glasses sitting right next to serval open bags of bread..unsanitary! I ordered a #6 (a vegetarian) which includes 3 cheeses. After getting home I noticed I was only given 2. We ordered a total of 3 sandwiches. The girl who was placing the toppings on the sandwiches would ask about topping choices for all sandwiches at once! Geez...slow down! One at a time. The place wasn't even busy. We had to repeat topping choices to her several times. A little bit of lettuce means a little bit of lettuce, not the regular amount. Avocado for my #6 was watery and looked gross. The girl complained that she got it all over her. My husband's bread was stale, probably because they left the bread bags open. The management here has always been extremely accommodating and attentive to all my orders over the past years. They always use the best ingredients and make each sandwich with love! It is a family owned establishment and I’ve met each family member. They all care so much about the customer and treat each customer with the same awesome attitude. Employees are rude and refuse to take a preorder over the phone like other locations in town. Also will not put toppings on the side without extra charge and even if you pay they will complain about it taking more time. Store was empty at 12pm lunch hour, not surprising.
I asked for a refund and took my business to Mae Ann location and the staff was soooo much nicer. The manager even greeted me and thanked me for my business. Highly recommend shopping at the Mae Ann location...
