Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant in Reno is a true gem for anyone who loves authentic Mexican cuisine and a genuinely welcoming dining experience. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by the inviting aromas of fresh spices and sizzling meats, and the friendly staff make you feel instantly at home. The servers at Casa Grande are attentive without being overbearing—they take the time to explain the menu, offer personal recommendations, and check in often to make sure your meal is just right. Their warmth and genuine hospitality add so much to the overall atmosphere, making it easy to relax and enjoy your visit. One of the highlights at Casa Grande is definitely the chips and salsa. The chips arrive at your table warm, crisp, and just salty enough, paired with a salsa that’s packed with real flavor and just the right amount of kick. It’s the perfect way to start your meal, and you’ll probably find yourself reaching for more before your main dishes arrive. If you enjoy seafood, the ceviche at Casa Grande is a must-try. It’s bright, zesty, and made with the freshest ingredients—each bite brings a burst of citrus and a perfect balance of flavors that really stand out. For something more substantial, the Carne Asada is a real crowd-pleaser. The steak is always tender, juicy, and full of that smoky, savory flavor you want from great Mexican food. It’s served with classic sides that round out the meal, making it both filling and memorable. Casa Grande’s atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, and the décor adds to the feeling that you’re enjoying a meal in a place that truly values tradition. The authenticity of the dishes, combined with the genuinely friendly service, makes this spot a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re meeting friends for dinner, celebrating with family, or just grabbing a quick bite, Casa Grande always delivers an amazing experience. If you’re looking for real Mexican food and a welcoming place to enjoy it, you can’t go wrong here—especially if you order the ceviche, Carne Asada, and those unforgettable chips and salsa.

me & my mom were excited to try this place because the reviews were really good but we are disappointed. my mom got the fajitas and barely ate them. i tried a piece of her meat but i had to spit it out, we both thought it was nasty. it had no flavor or seasoning, it tasted old and gross and like a greasy grill that ain’t been cleaned in a while.. she asked the waiter if she could get some of her money back because she paid $27 for a plate she barely touched and they only refunded $5. it’s been a few hours since we ate and her stomach is messed up… i took the second picture right before we left and that was how much food was left because we just couldn’t eat it. the service was good but both of our meals were terrible. i ordered a burrito with grilled chicken but i received boiled (?) shredded chicken with no flavor and it was just gross. it was wet and slimy and had a horrible texture. i ate some of it though because i was hungry, but it was not good. no spice no flavor & the salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce lmao. enchilada sauce tasted like Old El Paso sauce out the can but even that stuff is better! .. it’s alright for old white Reno locals but if you want some real mexican food, go to Bertha Miranda’s not here. they have better prices & even better food !!!!

If your in the Reno area or visiting this place is a must go if your craving Mexican food. Its in a good location with plenty of parking and its easy to find. From downtown Reno its about a 10 minute drive. The restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms and the staff was friendly and attentive. I went in with a large party and we were seated promptly (in different tables of course) the waiter came out quickly with chips and salsa and bean dip as well as waters. All our orders were brought out quickly and accurately and everyone enjoyed their meals, even the kids! My personal favorites was the Ceviche( marinated fish in lime juice) the shrimp wrapped in bacon and the carne con chile( pork in a delicious green salsa) everything had good flavor! Highly recommended this place!

We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant in entire USA and to our disappointment it was closed for the holidays. That is the main reason for us to visit Reno. With our craving for Mexican food full on, I decided to search for another Mexican restaurant nearby. Casa Grande popped up with 4.2 stars rating and it was less than 10 mins away. I quickly called to see if they were open and a friendly guy answered "of course we are open." YAY. We drove there still a little disappointed that our favorite restaurant was closed. We walked into Casa Grande, and got a series of really excited warm greeting from the staff. We were "wowed." This was not the typical type of greeting you get at restaurants in America. We scanned through the menu with too many choices and the server kept checking on us while we decided and enjoyed the warm chips and salsa. We told the server we wanted a margarita with a kick and she recommended the halapeno margarita. She brought it in two mason jars and each jar had 3 servings of drinks. The food came sizzling and quickly as well. The portions were GINORMOUS. We devoured our delightful lunch to the last bite. Even though we were overstuffed, we were not going to leave without dessert. We ordered something we never had before and it was heavenly. Thank you Casa Grande for a delightful meal. Cant wait to stop by during our...

This was our second time at this location and unfortunately last night (Sat, Dec 21) was the worst service we have ever had at ANY restaurant! The hostess was sweet and seated us promptly, however, our male waiter NEVER even acknowledged us! After trying to make eye contact and get his attention numerous times, it was evident he was purposely ignoring us. Why? There was a large group (12+) next to us that was seated after us that he immediately waited on. My husband, two children and I still waited patiently, but after 20+ minutes watching him serve (and even clean up another table) it was evident he had no intention to serve us. As we were walking out I kindly told the hostess that sadly we were leaving after waiting 20+ minutes because we were not even acknowledged by our waiter, she proceeded to ask where we were seated (by the Christmas tree) and immediately apologized. Interesting enough when she asked where we were seated she looked to her left and our waiter was standing right there! At that moment he had an opportunity to say something (anything!), but he literally stood there staring at the hostess and refused to make eye contact with us! I have never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately, this restaurant has lost our business indefinitely due to the...
