Jamba Juice — Restaurant in Reno

I normally love Jamba Juice, but this place managed to make my experience awful. I went here with a friend and we both ordered bowls with something on top instead of banana as we don’t like banana. I ordered a pineapple sub and she asked for extra strawberries instead. Well, when we got our bowls, they both had bananas on top. My friend politely asked the worker if he could put the strawberries and pineapples on top instead as we had ordered. Before she even finished telling him what we wanted, he rudely interrupted her with a “yeah” and grabbed back both the bowls. A little bit later, we got our bowls back. Not only did the worker put pineapples on top of both, but the pineapples were solid frozen. As I started eating mine, it had the consistency of soup, almost as if no ice at all had been blended into it. I don’t know the servers name as his name tag was completely covered by a black sweatshirt (which is against the explicit rule that you must have your name tag showing at all times) and one out of three of the food preparers were wearing aprons. My cousins & I, a group of 5 finished our Pilates class & wanted something quick since we live 30min away.

Closing time is 8pm & we showed up 740. There was another girl who showed up before us FROM THE SAME CLASS & she got her drink & left. My cousin approached the counter and was immediately met with rudeness from a woman with drastic eyeliner who said they were out of certain ingredients, which is understandable at that time of the day. But instead of directing us to what options we could have or substitutions that would be suitable for our choices she kept insisting that our order would not taste good which came off like she didn’t want us to buy anything at that hour so she could close early and leave. As each of us stepped up to order something different, avoiding the ingredients she had listed, she added more and more ingredients that they were out of but with a condescending tone. In the end the items we ordered were delicious but the customer service from that woman leaves much to be desired. We will not be returning when we see that...

Went in to order a few drinks. There was no on at the counter, only a family sitting at the table. Cashier was not approachable. I started asking about a kale/orange suggestion. Immediately said we don’t have kale. No options or suggestions provided. I ordered my other drinks and asked what other options with orange are done and was given a look and said that’s it. I asked quickly what can you suggest and the cashier Jacob just okay, fine that’s the only orange drink. I paid for the drinks and he went around the corner to tell the female workers. They peak around the corner to look at us and he said “I’m allergic to oranges, I don’t drink oranges.” That’s understandable. However at a company where you have to make drinks, you would think you know the ingredients and I was not asking that he drank the oranges. I requested to cancel my order and left.
