Bucks Teriyaki — Restaurant in Renton

So I ordered chicken teriyaki from Buck’s Teriyaki through DoorDash, thinking I’d have a nice, quiet dinner at home. What I didn’t expect was a box the size of a small suitcase to show up at my door. I almost tipped the driver extra for what must have been a heavy-lifting fee.

The food itself? Incredible. The chicken was juicy, drenched in this heavenly teriyaki sauce that I swear made me drool before I even opened the container. The rice? They gave me enough to survive an apocalypse. I’m not exaggerating when I say I ate for 20 minutes and barely made a dent. It felt like the meal was multiplying every time I put my fork down.

And don’t get me started on the leftovers—I’ve got teriyaki for days. Honestly, I’m considering sharing with my neighbors, or maybe starting a food drive.

I ordered online from Bucks Wok Teriyaki and went in to pick it up. The food did not look like the pictures at all. I got the Kung Pao Chicken, and the meat tasted like it had been refried or re-cooked, not fresh at all. The chicken was dry, and the vegetables were hard and crunchy, like they weren’t fully cooked. I couldn’t even finish it.

My friend ordered the Mongolian Beef, and while she did get beef, there were no vegetables included even though they were shown in the menu photo.

Food isn’t cheap these days, and when we order, we expect to get what’s advertised. What I see on the menu should be what I receive — not dry, old-tasting meat and incomplete dishes. I’m very disappointed with this experience. Lashonda🙏🏾😔 The photo, and...

A bit disappointing. Food was ok tonight, but what soured the experience was the lack of update menu pricing online. I looked this place up and saw the photos listed as "menu". I placed an order that would have been around $34 after tax based on their menu photos. I got there to pick it up, and the final total was $43!? Their menu once inside is a good $2 higher per item on everything, than is listed online. Mongolian beef went from 9/9.95 in the photos, to $11!!

A near $10 difference is not ok at all. Please update your online menu photos to reflect your current pricing, or I wont be back because its like roulette for how much I'm going to pay. Without a proper menu I cant...
