Pizza Time — Restaurant in Renton

We’ve ordered from here perhaps a dozen times- always consistently really good. The guy that runs this pizza joint is a gem of a human too- I walked in this evening, and casually asked if he did stuffed crust (my wife is a huge fan of stuffed crust- one of the many reasons she is near and dear to me), which I don’t think I saw on the menu (learned later it was). He said “yea no problem, just wander back in like, 15 minutes”. I’m sitting here eating wonderful, stuffed-crust pizza with my very happy partner.

Pizza taste: like a better version of Papa Johns (similar flavor profile too, with fresh tasting vegetables, not greasy crust yet full of flavor, wonderful sweet-ish tomato sauce). If you’ve been to the Northgate branch of The Watershed (arguably one of the best north-of-Seattle places for pizza) , this crust rivals theirs in flavor profile, has a little better chew but isn’t quite as crispy/buttery.

I've lived not far from this pizza joint for seven years, and I decided I'd try it. Why not? Local places are often better than chains. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni... Just one topping, as their prices are a tad high. Their thin crust isn't actually very thin, and it wasn't cooked all the way through in places. The dough had big bubbles in sections, and they use a small amount of sauce (which doesn't taste homemade, but who knows).

As for the actual business, it looks a tad run down and a bit dirty. If you don't take pride in your business and ensure it looks good for the customer, you probably aren't making the best product either. I won't go back, and I'm a little disappointed. I wanted it to be...

My family recently moved to the area from the Midwest and we have had trouble finding affordable high quality pizza in Renton. I have tried many pizza places in the area, this is by far the best tasting, and value for the money. My family ordered the Combo Supreme pizza with stuffed crust. The crust is light, buttery and cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. They applied a generous amount of cheese. I enjoyed the amount of cheese as part of the stuffed crust.
