Yesterday, to my disappointment, I was treated rudely by ‘Tia’ in the drive thru. My passenger and I ordered 5 items, including the new potato and chive bites. They were salty but tasty too. Speaking of salty…The barista named ‘Tia’ was quite rude and actually ruined our visit. I asked for vanilla cold cream (not foam) in my drink, paying $1.25 for it. The espressos bitterness rarely upsets my stomach but yesterday was one of those days. I told the girl- I’ll taste it when I get to the window and let you guys know-if it’s too bitter because sometimes the bitterness is hard on my stomach. She said ok. Everything was good until they handed me my drink. It didn’t look like any vanilla cold cream was added. I asked them she said yes and said that’s why there’s white on the ice. I looked and there wasn’t anything white on the ice. It looked like they may have added foam not cream. I took their word and tasted the drink. It was too bitter. I asked them if they could please add vanilla cold cream because of the bitterness and said that the bitterness upsets my stomach. The barista brings the pitcher of vanilla cold foam/cream over to the window and adds a teeny bit in the cup and doesn’t wait a brief moment for me to taste. It was still bitter but she was already gone, having put the pitcher away, walking around the corner. I thought that was strange because normally they ask, if that’s good (just to make sure the customer is happy with the drink/modification) and then walk away. I just needed a tiny bit more but the girl was out of sight. That’s when Tia came around the corner. I don’t know if she had a bad day but she definitely looked like she was in a bad mood heading my way. I asked her if I could have a bit more since it’s still bitter and she just tightened her lip looking angry, grabbed the pitcher put a tiny dollop in a cup and handed it to me. Not saying anything. I asked her if, instead of the cup, she could just pour it because I didn’t have room for the extra cup (refraining from saying that dollop is wasting a whole cup) but she said they can’t pour from the pitcher because it’s against regulation. I was confused because that’s what the other girl just did. I told her that and she said she can’t because they follow regulation at that store, even though I told her the girl just poured it directly into my cup from the pitcher. Not for me to debate. She said she was going to charge me (even though I had already paid for the vanilla cream-think I just got foam?) and if I didn’t like it I could pull around to come in and have it remade. I told her it’s too bitter, we had already waited and had somewhere to go, asking if they could just remake it while I was there. She refused. She expressed all of this with a very hostile attitude that began as soon as she saw me-I found this odd and disturbing. I was a customer that just wanted the drink that I paid for to taste good and not hurt my stomach due to the bitterness of Starbucks coffee (which I have enjoyed for years) and I’m not a person that requests a massive amount of sugar or cream etc in my drink although it’s not for me to judge those who do. We all have our ‘things’ all of us. Last night, it was supposed to be a pleasant treat, a pleasant experience and it was anything but that. I didn’t initially include that as I was placing the order the girl was laughing over the intercom. It was negative and disappointing. I don’t know why she was so rude and hostile. I wondered if that’s how she treated other customers who asked for a reasonable amount of what they paid for. She offered to remake it yes-however she said she would charge me again for vanilla cold foam/cream?that would be another $1.25 totaling $2.50 just for foam/cream. Pulling around, going inside, paying double, waiting again only to then be charged more for a drink that I wasn’t happy with and that would hurt my stomach, well that didn’t seem right. I could only stomach half of the drink last night. Displeased and disgusted. Waste of time, $, unpleasant and hostile. No...
Read moreMy fiance and I went to this Starbucks as we always do and only i went inside because my fiance had to handle a business phonecall in the car. So I was inside wAiting patiently for our drinks, (the girl at the register was a sweetheart but i didn't cAtch her name) and they were made without coffee in them so I told the blonde girl they were wrong and she responded completely rude and with attitude! So again I waited patiently For our drinks to be fixed and she did not completely remake them, she just added a couple squirts of coffee and blended it for a second. When she placed them down in front of me she just walked away did not say have a nice day, happy New year, nothing! Just walked away as if I had done something wrong to her. So I just simply walked back to my car handed my fiance his drink and asked him if he liked it his reaction told all. So Chris and I both walk back inside and he goes to the counter to tell the ladies it was wrong and yet again here comes the blonde girl (her name pronounced az- re- el- uh) the Asian girl told me cause I asked the name of the blonde girl. Well Azrella decided to be VERY RUDE to my fiance and Chris continued to be polite and said please make them correct thank you then came over and sat down next to me then went out side to grab something and while he's out side Azrella decided she was going to start talking crap about my fiance and I heard her talking to her little girl friends saying " And I said Well do you want extra coffee in it" and she was saying it so loud & with so much attitude I just couldn't take it anymore and I shouted " Excuse me?! We are sitting right here and your going to talk about us like we cant hear you? Just shut up do your job & make our drinks and we will leave. This is totally unprofessional of you guys to talk about us as if we are not sitting right here but just unprofessional period cause YOU should not be talking about a customer so loudly where we can hear you! Totally unprofessional! " thats when the Asian girl decided to jump in and say we are making your drinks and I said Well do that then and we will leave. Totally disrespectful, totally inappropriate. I give u guys no kudos. Talk to your staff I feel someone should get in some sort of verbal warning or something for this cause that was completely unacceptable behavior! Don't go to this Starbucks for all u know someone's on their period and the "gang" decides to spike your coffee with some unwanted spit or something for THEIR wrong doing! I am very...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Avoid at all costs. A frequent customer of Starbucks we're talking several times a week... I have a new route to work and I have stopped at the Starbucks twice. The first time was about a week ago. I ordered a venti iced coffee with light ice, classic syrup and cream. The woman making it informed me that you have to request classic syrup now. I informed her that I did and she said that it wasn't on the sticker and proceeded to dump the coffee down the drain and said "I have to start over". I was annoyed by this because I pay a lot of money for coffee and I didn't see why she had to waste it rather than just at the syrup at the top or even in a different cup and then pour it in. I honestly didn't understand why she just dumped the entire coffee down the drain when it could have been remedied very easily. I said, "You didn't have to pour out." She did not yell at me but she did raise her voice a few notches and said "yes I do!" I got my drink and left. Today I visited the Starbucks on my way home from work. It was very late afternoon about 4:15 pm. There was only one customer ahead of me and no mobile orders. A young woman was very, very casually making my drink while talking to another employee the entire time. It took her 7 minutes to make an iced coffee with cream, light Ice and classic syrup as she chatted and never acknowledged me. She said my name and I said "Ready when you are" A portly, tall young man who she had been chatting with while he also made a drink very slowly for the drive-thru window said, "Did she just say ready when you are?!"
The service at the Starbucks is absolutely horrid I don't know who trained these people but they don't like their jobs and they're not good at their jobs. I don't typically post negative reviews I mean I don't like to do that but this Starbucks is just so so bad. Not my typical...
