This place is awesome! Pam and Denny are absolutely fantastic!! Passing through on a cross country journey to my new home spot in the UP and had to stop for the night. One of the best fish and chips I've ever had! We met some really nice locals and had some fun chats. Great spot here and great energy in these walls! Thank you again Pam and Denny ❤️ Tommy and I will see you again soon.

We had the taco special here on the first night of a 21-day road trip across the Dakotas to Montana and back. While not authentic Mexican, the food was Midwest wholesome and tasty. The patio seating was pleasant. And the service was Midwest nice. Food prices were quite reasonable, but the beer was a bit steep.

Great little family owned (3 generations!) That now Dennis and Pam are running. Pam is a wealth of info if you're a Scotch drinker as she lived there and knows the whiskies and stocks a few higher-end brands in their shelves. Love this place!

Delicious with a capital "D". This was our first visit to Pat's Tavern in Rhinelander and it will definitely not be our last. It was like walking into the local "Cheers" with our Hodag homie, coming in from the back to spacious and accommodating beer garden, to our friendly greeting by co-owner Pam - we knew we were in for something special. Special indeed, it's Taco Wednesday - WOW, their tacos are awesome. We tried the trifecta - traditional ground beef, shredded beef and chicken...I won't disclose the house secret, if you haven't visited them before - you'll have to try them yourself. Dennis, co-owner, joined us later to insure we had all the right accoutrements, complete with a handy scissors to open the packets of taco sauce and sour cream. We loved the food, the visit and the genuine home town hospitality - thanks Pam and Dennis for making our first...

Warm and friendly with a great selection of Irish whiskeys. Dennis was friendly from the start and was proud to tell the history of the tavern. Pam was so very kind and we enjoyed swapping stories of life in the big city compared to the peaceful Northwoods. Food smelled amazing but we did not dine there. We will keep Pat's Tavern in our fond memories of our trip to Rhinelander. Thank you again...

I thought this food was amazing! I got a fish fry with French fry’s and bread. To start the fish fry had the best breading ever and the fish was really moist! And the French fry’s were really delicious too. To top it off the rye bread was phenomenal, they toast and butter it making it so yummy. I also had a brandy old fashion which was also really good. I will definitely be coming...
