Horrible customer service. Very poor customer service on behalf of the manager as well. Hopefully thier behavior gets addressed. IF YOU AREN'T A PEOPLE PERSON, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE/FOOD HANDLING. THIS WAS A COMMENT ON FACEBOOK BY A CUSTOMER IN THE AREA, I'M ASKING DAIRY QUEEN PLEASE ADDRESS YOUR STAFF & ACCORDINGTO THE COMMENTSNOT A FIRST OFENSE BY LOCATION: Has anyone else had a bad experience at Dairy Queen off Riverside Ave? Yesterday evening my mom (has very broken English) tried ordering from drive thru but was getting very rude feed back from the very young employee. She placed her order and was waiting at the window for over 20mins while employees stared at her and laughed at her expense. When she comforted them and gave them an attitude back they called police on her. She paid for the order but was so upset she didn’t even wait for her order anymore and just left. They showed so much disrespect because she doesn’t speak great English and wasn’t letting them bully her. Now that I called to speak to the manager, manager said she was there and it was my mom that was rude. I can tell you my mother is not rude just for no reason. We have never in our life’s ever experienced this. When she spoke to the police officer that pulled her over ( means they called police while she was waiting) he agreed that the employees were in the wrong. Employees and manager are covering for each other.

Read moreCame to get the blizzard we ordered the raspberry fudge chocolate whatever it was. Either they were just overwhelmed and work cuz it did seem kind of busy or they just didn't know what they were doing and making the blizzard or they just didn't care. The raspberry fudge didn't taste good at all it had way too much chocolate in it and it didn't seem like it was made right. The guy turned one of them upside down and the other one he didn't I happen to get the one that he didn't turn upside down and it wasn't mixed well at all at the bottom of the cup it was white and runny. My friend complained about it having too much chocolate in it mine had a lot of chocolate in it as well it did kind of throw it off didn't have enough raspberry in it I'm going to guess maybe it was because there was only one person making a blizzards there seem to be a line through the drive through because she was making a whole lot of them before she made ours and there were also six people in the dining area ordering. I would come back a second time and try it again they didn't totally chase me away I'm thinking it was just a busy time and not enough staff. I feel like rated this fairly I 100% honestly,...
Read moreAside from the name folks ... famous for their hand dipped cones and dessert sundaes . Dairy Queen surely has lost its crown or tiara ,, In any case ,, if you see one and you want to stop and get a bite to eat look down the street and see what else is available ..... That might be your best option. By the way , This location particularly was being shopped .
The menu choices are well below par . Customer service was the only highlight of the day considering the ratio of employees to customers I can only guess this location was a franchise operation.
Recommend if you want dessert or treat the kids to a hand dipped cone just to get out of the house and stay awhile there's plenty of room to sit down and enjoy one of classic treats to eat. In closing if you want a burger this is not the place. Chicken strips and Texas toast way too small all the way around . If you've been to Texas you know what I am talking about . 3 Star rating for the employees for the record folks . Their presence alone is the reason the crown is still on and in this case , absent of quality customer service the Queen will surely die.
I look forward to returning to this location to see the change...
