Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Rialto

This place is probably not the best to dine in and this is my experience. It may be different for everyone else. When we arrived the worker took a minute to greet us which is fine. She had been attending to someone with an order. We had no idea what to order anyway. When we asked about breakfast she was explaining it well to us. I ordered coffee for my husband and i. My lil one's had 2 waters. Fast forward to the food. We waited not only for the food but we never got our coffee. Until the food was brought to the table. We waited what seemed like forever. While waiting we had no coffee, and a baby crying loud as can be. Now i do understand not something in farmer boys control. But we could not enjoy the food. My daughter didn't find the pancake meal very good because the pancakes had a funny taste to them. it was like all our food was mixed around together when being made or something. I could taste an off taste. i ordered the breakfast burrito and I've had it here before thru drive thru and it was good but this time it felt like it was rushed and very small. Same with my husband's. We didn't say anything and just decided to eat it as is because we had no time left. All in all for our first time dining here it was not a great experience and like i said maybe it was a bad day for us or the location. But is definitely felt like we had...

I always try to give this spot the benefit of the doubt since it's so close to my house. But the food is so bland and overcooked, definitely not what I expect for the money I spend there.

It's hit or miss with the staff too, sometimes you get the nice young lady and sometimes you get the one who hates the fact that they put her on drive thru.

Today, I tried going at a different time, breakfast. My husband got the breakfast burrito with bacon, sausage and ham. He said it was less than mediocre. He didn't even finish it and I've never seen him meet a burrito he didn't like. I on the other hand, ordered the 3 egg breakfast, with bacon and sourdough toast and hashbrowns. The only thing worth eating was the bacon. Everything else just looked so sad. The eggs were dry and the hashbrowns were burnt, it felt like I was a horse eating hay trying to get it down, so I stopped trying.

Food was excellent but the staff including the manager have horrible customer service. I used a coupon for $4 off. I ate my meal in the parking lot. When I finished I noticed that my receipt did not show a discount. No problem because I was still in the parking lot. I entered and explained the situation. Immediately I was told that I must have forgot to show them the discount. I replied that I had shown them my phone and that they had scanned QR code. A second employee jumped in and told me that I was mistaken and that there was nothing that they can do. I replied, " please don't tell me what I didn't do". I asked for the manager. The manager quickly came over and told me that her employee's were just asking a question. She walked away and returned within seconds. It turns out that I was given the receipt prior to the discount being taken. Not once did any of the three offer a simple" sorry let me look into what happened".
