Park is cool. But on the weekends it's always packed. The soccer leagues take domain of it. They think they own it. Parking is a hassle. Your best bet is going on the weekdays in the afternoon. There is play centers for the kids. It's a big park or complex. I just wish the soccer leagues weren't such jerks and think they own it. This is a PUBLIC park. Not yours. Sometimes you'll go play soccer or something, and they wl come to tell you to leave. Really? Go get a life, they say it's because they would be liable, it's a public place, you can't be liable. Plus, they beat up the grass, and don't maintain it. Wish the city would control this a bit more. But thus it's a nice place to go and relax.

I've only been to this park once but with four small kids under the age of 10 we frequent parks often. This park didn't have much playground equipment but has plenty of usable green space which makes it a great place to take the family for an afternoon picnic or to let the kids run around and burn off that pinned up energy little ones always seem to have or toss around the old football, softball, or frisbee. I only recommend that parents be vigilant though for there are, as is the case with most public parks, some transient folks that were hanging around the bathrooms or picnic area. They seem to keep to themselves but obviously worth keeping your little ones close...

I liked this place, had a real calm atmosphere. Super well maintained, but the bathrooms were a little rough. But all in all, id recommend it to anyone passing through or just living in the area. It's a nice community as well, people were a little nosey while I juggled but everywhere has its bummer people. Surprising enough I didn't see any homeless or troubled teens, no graffiti everywhere, and allot of people out just for a walk through or around the place. Definitely want to go back for a ...
