First time ordering for me. First pizza had an issue. No big deal they immediately offered to send a new one. It was here fast had the. Same issue. Half the toppings are on one side of the pizza, the other is basically just cheese and sauce. With the toppings all on one side it's like having half a a Chicago deep dish on one side and a cheese pizza on the other.. I really wanted something good. The bill was enough that for over $26 before top I thought I would be getting something great!!! Sorry
I was laying in bed having something done to me by the nurse. I glanced over and what I saw looked ok out of the corner of my eye... I still have both pizzas here. I will gladly have my wife bring them to you so you can see what I'm saying..... Sorry you don't believe me, but it's going to be easy enough to prove. Why would I order pizza and not touch either one. I will gladly change this review.....
Update. I took both un-eaten pizzas up to the restaurant. I showed them how 80% of the toppings was on one side of the pizza, and the other side had nothing but sauce and cheese. Both had obviously been tilted on the side. I love pizza and was in the hospital at Methodist hospital Richardson. A good pie would of really been magical. I was able too re-construct one piece and it was good. A was released from the hospital the next day. I took both full pizzas in to prove the issue. Both pizzas had slices that were less than a quarter inch on on side of the pizza. There wer slices on the other side that were two and a half inches thick with sauce, cheese, and toppings all over that side and top of the box. The manager said he thought they looked great and wanted to know what I wanted to do. I told him i wanted my money back. Instantly he started puffing out bis chest and telling me no way would he refund my money ($26.00) and told me to leave his restaurant..... I told him he was wrong and i wanted my money back and he got all excited and said be was calling the police..

Read moreLet’s face it, pizza is not one of the first cuisines that come to mind when you think about Texas foods. Well, Schiano’s Pizza is not your typical Texas Pizza place! Eddie and Dana Schiano are serving outstanding pizza, pasta and sandwiches that will please any palate.
So many great combinations, that I had a hard time deciding on my pizza topping. I couldn’t settle on just one, so I went with half Lasagna Pizza and half Cheeseburger Pizza, and a Philly Cheesesteak. (enough food for at least 3 people!)
Let’s start with the crust. While true to the NY pizza flavors, the crust is a little thicker than what I normally think of, which I enjoyed. The crust is thick enough to support all the toppings, and enhance the great pizza flavor, but not so thick that you feel like you’ve eaten an entire loaf of bread after just two slices!
The two sides were very different. The Cheeseburger side was highlighted by the Pickle. A great fusion of pizza and cheeseburger that will make you want to keep going back for another slice. The Lasagna Pizza absolutely blew me away! What struck me most was the fresh ricotta. It was very flavorful and blended so well with the marinara and Italian sausage – I’ve begun craving it again even as I type this review! It’s so good, I can’t imagine going back and not getting at least a small Lasagna Pizza.
Finally, the Philly. You might think that a place with great pizza couldn’t also serve a great Philly Cheesesteak, but you would be wrong if you think that about Schiano’s. The beef was well-chopped and very tender. The jalapenos provided a great spiciness, and the toasted roll, a nice contrast to the rest. I would not hesitate to grab one of these sandwiches for a quick lunch. Schiano’s also offers a wide variety of pastas, calzones, salads, appetizers and desserts, as well as a gluten-free crust!
If you’re in the Richardson area, make time to visit Schiano’s for lunch or dinner. If you’re not near Richardson, plan a trip – I’m confident...
Read moreYou can go down my review history list and see that my favorite food is clearly Italian. I’ve been looking all over Dallas and it’s inner towns for a place that gives the perfect amount of portion for the price paid. You know it’s a dank spot when the only regret that you have is that you didn’t find this place sooner. This is a little mom and Pop spot in the north Richardson area. The people running at our top class. The food is definitely why I keep coming back again and again. I’ve tried most everything on the menu but I only have a few pictured. Calzone and Stromboli are hefty so get prepared to not finish your meal. The tastiest dish on my endeavor has got to be the chicken Parmesan plate with spaghetti. I always ask for extra marinara sauce because I can drink that. Don’t get me started with the pizza the best in all of the Alice the crust is doughy, The portions are plentiful, The cheese is great and the marinara tomato sauce is the best thing ever. As a Muslim I can’t eat pork and this place is very aware and accommodating when it comes to non-pork options. Their carry out is effective and efficient. Their deliveries is just as good. Lobster ravioli is tasty bc of that amazing sauce. They’ve got wings, calamari, eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, breadsticks, garlic bread just about anything you could think of when it comes to Italian food. I ordered the combo pizza, It’s half veggie half meat lovers. To die for. Bonus points for cleanliness. The fountain drink machine is nice because it’s always carbonated and not flat. If you got a sweet tooth they also have tasty desserts. Cannoli is my choice.
Next time I plan on getting a pizza I’m just gonna go straight pepperoni and cheese with extra pepperoni and cheese that’s an expert order like a very goofy movie. Establishment is next to a hearing aid center and a...
