I was pretty disappointed in the sushi I received, and im crazy about sushi, so that's hard to do. Very generic, boring looking rolls, you can get more intriguing looking sushi at Kroger. I thought this was the same as the Sushi Go in Mckinney.....it's not and the food quality is much different. I got three rolls, and this was the amount of ginger and Wasabi they gave me. It was barely a speck of Wasabi for all three rolls. I asked for additional sauce because the rolls had nothing on them, and they skimped hard on that too, not even sesame seeds or any type of flair/ razzle dazzle at all. They gave me the smallest amount of spicy mayo and eel sauce i have ever seen in my life. If you go to the one in Mckinney and order a Tiger roll and a Lion king roll, you will be blown away. Not at this location though. I don't see a reason I'd come back here to eat. They don't write the names of the rolls on the lid of the Togo boxes like they do at Sushi go Mckinney so I had no idea which one was which. Wanted to refund it honestly.

NOTE: This is NOT the same SushiGo as the one down the street, or any of the other locations named Sushi Go-- they all have different owners. So don't judge this one by your experiences at the others. This place has superb, fresh and skillfully made stuff. If you have a sushi craving but don't feel like all the bells and whistles of dining out, and would rather enjoy your rolls and sashimi on your living room couch, this is THE place to go to still get that restaurant quality sushi. Richardson residents, give this place some love!!

My office moved to Richardson about a year ago. I can't believe I just now found this place. The restaurant is small and unassuming, but the food was really good. I ordered the Niko Niko Roll and the Superman burrito. The fish was fresh and delicious. I'm somewhat notorious for over-ordering, when it comes to sushi, but this was the perfect amount of food for one. There are lunch specials as well, which I'm looking forward to trying on future visits.

I just ordered from here and am writing the review. I'm only here to comment on the food. Everything else was great or standard procedure. The place is small, but clean. Really there isn't much atmosphere and I'm assuming this place is mostly for pick up but they have a few tables. The place is clean. Person at the counter was very friendly.

I think they gave me some bad cuts. I ordered the philidelphia roll, the red snapper nigiri and the salmon nigiri.

The taste was ok, but the Philadelphia roll was VERY chewy, not just in the seaweed, but the fish itself, like there were some tough parts...sinewy, stringy or tendon parts? I don't know if they were cutting from the tail or something but, I didn't finish my roll. I even had some "crunch" parts in the meat. It happened on almost every piece of it, and I just really started to get turned off.

The red snapper also had the same as well. It wasn't as bad as the smoked salmon in the roll, but I had a hard time pulling it with my teeth so it would bite through clean without a knaw or two.

The Salmon nigiri was excellent. I would order it again is I came here, but I don't think I will be. I'm a new customer. I kinda feel like this was a bad experience considering how expensive sushi can be. $24 for me feeling like I killed something I didn't enjoy, and feeling not great about it, and wasting it cause I'm turned off. I ordered online as well, and my order didn't seem to go through correctly so I made sure to call in to check if it did. I don't think that's their fault...can't control the internet ;) But overall just added to the "eehhh, not the best" experience. I don't think...

This is our second time here and this place doesn't disappoint. My girlfriend and I are big fans of this place. The service here is excellent and the chef behind the counter knows what he's doing. They are always adding new dishes to try. My girlfriend is a big tempura fan so she got the Temptation roll. 10/10. Very crispy, fresh tempura and the entire roll was amazing. I usually tend to go for spicy rolls and it just so happens that the chef had a new roll he had been working on with spicy crab, avocado, and jalapenos that had not been formally added to the menu yet. I hope it gets added soon because I loved it. Another 10/10. The miso soup is also a must if you decide to come here. This place deserves more business based on the service and quality of food these guys are putting out. Please give this...
