The Sweet Roasted Duck has been very tasty the last two times I ordered it over a course of 3 weeks. However, my most recent phoned-in pick-up order was on Sun., 10/02/22. Notice duck was somewhat dry & there was no sauce or broth as with previous orders. When brought to the restaurant’s attention I was told they Never add broth or sauce over duck, basically saying that I was lying about the last orders in which I received sauce in a small container.
The other issue is that the restaurant nickel & dimes the customer for standard condiments that are generally given free with many other Asian restaurants. Wang’s restaurant charges .$.50 for a tiny plastic container of Chili Oil and is filled only 1/3 the way up. The customer however is not informed of this even though it is offered free of charge when dinning-in. This restaurant is quite stingy and does not provide the condiments customer’s should be entitled to with each order, only given when asked for them. Restaurant is not receptive to customer feed back regarding service and product. The staff views it as complaining rather than viewing it as a opportunity to make improve or make adjustments in service or preparation of food.
It seems Tiffany is more open to listen to customers than Mary, who is at front counter to bag food picked up orders. Mary tries to over talk the customer and does not listen and is unreasonable.
This restaurant will lose business because the staff is NOT CS oriented and lacks people and CS skills. This is especially important when there is stiff competition among many restaurants offering good Asian food in the surrounding area. Besides serving tasty food It is customer service that truly sets one restaurant above another.
I have decided that I will NO longer order from this restaurant and to give my business to other Asian restaurants such as KUNG POW across street in plaza where Walgreen’s Drug Store is located (North Star & Renner Rd). Wang’s is not very accommodating and inconsistent in food preparation and reluctant in providing general condiments that should be included with orders....

My family and I are picky with chinese food. My parents and I prefer First Chinese BBQ, Kirin, (old school) Canton but it’s not convenient for us to drive out there - Little Kaiping was our go to but this place is more than good enough to fill our cravings
I don’t know what kind of noodles they use for their lo mein but it is friggin dense and heavy - definitely bought fresh by the restaurant or made in house. Depending on the day, the lo mein can be more or less flavorful but either good or really good nonetheless.
The meat they use for their entrees are made much more fresh than many American chinese restaurants around. I can tell what left over meat taste like and this place DOES NOT serve leftover meat - this is important to me.
We got two lo meins, fried rice and Orange Chicken for $51. Not the cheapest but most Chinese restaurants have raised their prices over the years.
The service for me was pleasant. Very nice lady who took my order over the phone. She let me choose what time to pick it up (40 mins after the order) and it was still hot when I got home. The servings were quite hefty as well and they didn’t crowd my lo mein with onions without me requesting to do so.
I hope more people come to this place, they seem very nice and welcoming. Hopefully they do well in the community because I would love to come back because I’m trying the...
Read moreI generally do not write reviews but things have gotten so bad at this once great restaurant that I think it is really misleading for them to use the same name. The food here used to be authentic and tasty. Yes, it was pricey, but it is hard to get authentic Chinese food in the suburbs without driving 15+ minutes. Apparently Wang's was recently purchased by someone else and they changed the menu. I should have known when they said they no longer have Dan Dan Noodles. When I drove up and they had bright neon lights flashing everywhere that really made me nervous. My kids used to love the soup dumplings here but when I came home they weren't soup dumplings at all, they were just regular dumplings and the texture was awful. My kids wouldn't touch them. I also ordered the spicy wonton that I always ordered and they were really bad. Stay away, this new version of the restaurant is awful and should not be allowed to carry the same name...
