Traveling thru Richfield stop for lunch. We should have keep going. The service was sloooow, it was just short handed which is okay and I can be patient with. After we arrive the line got longe all the way to the door and there was zero sense of urgency on the workers and there didn’t appear to be any real leader there taking charge. The black beans we had been served were obvious prepared wrong, missing ingredients they were flavorless and blah. Worst experience ever at a Costa Vida and won’t be stopping there ever again. Glad to patronize my local Costa and won’t hold the experience against them. Perhaps more training and attention by owners or managers could correct these issues. Best of luck dine at your own risk.

She started my burrito with a large scoop of rice as I told her I wanted a refried bean burrito. She then grabbed another large scoop of rice. Then barely a spoonful of refried beans. Hot smothered burrito. I sat inside as I was celebrating that I’d just bought a brand new home yesterday. Then paying over $10 for a tortilla full of 99% rice. Couldn’t even taste the beans. I ate half & left. I am not a meat lover. I come to Costa Vida for your refried beans. Why not do it right? No one wants 2 heaping scoops of rice in there burritos……..not sure I’ll be a regular there

Holy.... food ;) this place is incredible. First time visiting and I arrived 15-20 minutes before closing. You would think they had just opened with how friendly everyone was — Kyra served me, and several of her co-workers also acknowledged me, complimented my food choices, and hoped I would enjoy my meal! Glad to be trying Kyra's favorite: raspberry chicken burrito smothered in cheese & raspberry sauce (enchilada style) with a unique ranch dressing sauce on the side. Plus pico, lettuce, gauc & sour cream included - couldn't ask for a better experience all around.

We just left here. The employees were tired and over it. I ordered a small salad and they didn’t have any lettuce for my salad left out...she was literally scraping the bottom of the container trying to get enough scraps of what was leftover to put on my salad. So I finally just asked her to leave the lettuce off and ended up with beans and rice in a container.. after we were to the end of the line they pulled out a new full container of lettuce? Like what? Why didn’t you do that before when there were ten lettuce shreds left? We asked for chips and queso and they were almost out of queso so the same girl was scraping the bottom trying to get enough and the cup wasn’t even half full, so we ask if they have salsa or if it comes with it and she says ā€œyou asked for quesoā€ yeah, I did, but that was before I knew you were out of it and gonna give me the bottom of the barrel/not fill it even halfway.

The only one who seemed worth her weight was the petite blonde working the counter- trying to do her job and also keep all these employees on it and doing their job. I’m assuming she’s an assistant manager or manager and if not, she should be. She’s the best employee you had working tonight.

This was my first restaurant experience after the covid lockdown and it was a massive let down. I get being over it on a holiday weekend, I’ve worked food before and I know it’s tiring, and not easy... but if you’re out of something, just say you’re out-instead of scraping the bottom for scraps. It’s so unappealing and icky. And if you have more lettuce pull it out when you have an order for a salad when you’re out! You still had an hour ā€˜til close and tons of customers...

I'm from California, this place is good, but something misses. I was coming off a 7 hour drive, was looking for something beyond that fast food taste so I decided this place.

It works like Chipotle, but the menu pictures seem off. The enchilada plate looks like it's two, but maybe it's one cut in half, anyway you only get one and it pales compared to the burrito drizzled with sauce so I guess the enchilada is for newbs that don't know you should always get the burrito.

The ordering experience was choppy. Their weren't stations so much as an array of things. My experience would be, "Hey you want this?" "Yes, I do." They add that thing to my meal, and then skip down the line, but I would want things that felt unrelated to the section skipped like grilled veggies next to salsas. They gave me everything I wanted but it just felt disjointed.

Anyway I gave this a 3/5, I was driving across the country, and I was looking for something not a burger and this was a pleasant experience. Food was good, felt like I got punished for picking the enchilada. If I had picked burrito I suspect the ordering experience would have...

This was the WORST experience we have ever had at Costa Vida. When we first got there there was only a couple people in line. The service was so slow that we waited 35 minutes just to get our food. When we got to the register the man rang us up, the guy told us the total and it was more than it was suppose to be. We asked the guy before paying if that total was right because we had a coupon and should have received one of the meals for free. The guy told us he had entered it in already and so we paid. When the receipt was printed we discovered that the guy didn’t actually give us the deal and when we asked him about it he told us there was nothing he could do about it. Before leaving the register we also asked him about a cinnamon sugar tortilla we had purchased and didn’t ever get on our tray. They forgot to make it and We asked about it a few times and they still never made the cinnamon sugar tortilla which we had paid for. By the time we sat down to eat our food it was COLD, and we overpaid for food we didn’t even get. It’s safe to say we will never EVER visit this...
