Robert's Diner In Richland — Restaurant in Richland Borough

My grandmother and I visited to have brunch together on Thursday Oct, 3rd. Despite the small appearance this tidy nook like diner has plenty of seating available. A dozen or more mounted backless stool style seats line the long service counter giving you full view of the open one man kitchen. While the opposing wall is lined with clean comfortable booths for groups. The two of us sat at the half booth/table by the door. Every other booth was occupied by three or more patrons, more than I expected at 11am on a weekday in my small hometown. The cute young waitress was friendly and attentive offering menus, reciting specials and taking our drink order of two coffees within a few minutes. She swiftly returned ready to take our order with fresh hot coffees in hand. My grandmother had eggs and toast and I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich special. Despite how busy it was our order took only ten to fifteen minutes at most to be made and courteously served with a smile. The french toast bread was cooked perfectly golden to complement the hot lightly fried thin sliced ham and turkey with a proper amount of melted cheese in the middle and a side of potato chips. Everything was delicious from start to finish. Our plates were promptly cleared and she offered us more coffee before bring the receipt. The total bill was reasonably priced around seventeen dollars for just the two of us. I will definitely stop...

Very nice little American cuisine restaurant.. The place in general was really clean and comfortable.. Robert's staff was well versed with the items available on the menu along with daily specials.. Our order was placed within 5 minutes of seating and about 12 minutes later we received everything we expected prepared perfectly.. Both orders were made with care and was really delicious.. So I suggest if you're traveling through the little town of Richland Pennsylvania, stop in at Robert's Diner for some great comfort home cooking, but remember Robert's is only opened from 6 AM to 2 PM everyday except Tuesday...
