Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Richland

I ordered 4 pizzas for delivery on Friday. I placed the order over the phone with more than 24 hours' notice. when my pizzas didn't show up, I called to find out what was going on. The phone was answered then automatically placed on hold. I was on hold for about 10 minutes and never talked to a person. My pizzas did arrive 30 minutes late. My coworkers and I only have a 30-minute lunch. When I asked the delivery person why they didn't call to tell me that my order was going to be late, I was told that they are shorthanded. He never apologized for being 30 minutes late. I tried to call to speak to the manager but got the same automated answer and placed on hold, never having a chance to speak to a real person. I know that sometimes things happen and cause delays. However, a phone call to let me know my order would be late would have been nice. I ordered the all meat pizza on line and paid on line at 4:07 PM. I arrived at 4:19 PM. The pizza was boxed and on the shelf when I arrived. There was one lady on duty. I didn’t notice any fixings out. I picked up the order and went home. The pizza was barely warm and the taste was nowhere near the quality I expected from Papa John’s. I ate two of the slices because I was very hungry. Later, thinking about what I observed, the temperature and taste of the pizza I concluded that the pizza had to have been cooked much earlier. Later I called the restaurant and complained about the pizza. I was given credit in my account.

I will use the credit for my next order and verify the quality before I take it home and that will be the last time I order from Papa John’s. This was inexcusable. I am so sorry because I have used that establishment in the past...

Several years ago I tried Papa John's and was not impressed. After my son Sam started there I decided to give it another try. What use to be a "crap shoot" gave me a wonderful surprise.....the pizza was great and so every time we order, we get a excellent pizza. I can I tell people to go to Papa John's on Van Giesen..........I am proud of my son, I have watched him as a manager and then a GM and he has grown........I have came when he didn't know I was there and he treats the team-members with great respect......So on Facebook I tell people to go to Papa John's for a great pizza, but make sure to go to the Van Giesen Papa John's in Richland, Wa. and while you are there, say hi to my...
